You can take fire science in college. However it is not needed for FDNY. Just wait for next written test and take it. Start taking prep classes for it . Meanwhile hit the gym hard. Order a 40lb weight vest and get on a stair master machine. There are books out there and videos of what the PT portion of the test is.
