I have always loved this woman, but I must say her voice had a lot higher pitch when she was younger. When you see her sing now she struggles to get to the higher notes. In this perfomance is was effortless for her.
She mentioned in an interview years ago, the show was filmed in August. And the heat was causing all of the performers feel a bit uncomfortable in heavy winter clothes.
