Despite having a massive follow you’re still with you feet on the ground. I really appreciate that you’re still showing us the affordable versions of clothing and accessories, or even doing the odd DYI ikea hack. Your channel is one of the few I can still relate to even after years of following you 🙂
I have to say you are the most down to earth British fashion bloggers. You come across genuine and your fashion advise is practicable. I’m not getting overwhelmed by crazy consumerism as it is the case with some other uk fashion bloggers. Also, your home renovation videos are inspiring. There is no bragging or showing off like some of your colleagues do.
Although I’m often a colourful dresser I love your fashion aesthetic. I now feel inspired to root through my wardrobe and put together some neutral outfits. Thank you Emma
Emma loved everything and happy to see M&S featured. Love to see affordable dressing as the designer brands are out of my budget. I find H&M do nice cotton/muslin/linen selection too. It would be great to have a final flip of all the pieces (so I can screen shot and search for them or look alike). By the time I get to the end I’ve seen so much that I like I loose track. 😂 Fab video. Thanks ❤
Emma, I recently bought your blazer in black from The Curated. I wore it for the first time last week and it’s definitely a keeper. The silk lining felt so good against my skin and the blazer itself moves beautifully. I’m now tempted to get one in linen this season 👍
You should get it! I am a bit late to this video as I was visiting Paris... and Emma's linen blazer was in my travel wardrobe. Love it so much! And, it's washable ❤
Just love your videos, especially the fashion related ones. Lately I have found myself wondering if “this is something Emma would like” when trying on new clothes 😂 Emma-approved outfits! ❤ (although I am fully aware you should choose whatever makes you happy)
Never tire of listening to you waffle on, Emma ❤ Those sandals are a FIND! I love the whole concept of only making what is desired by the consumer. Fantastic. And the design of them I actually like better than the Hermes ones. It’s always nice to see something not every one is wearing. A linen t shirt …. I mean, genius. Should be a no brainer and yet I don’t think I’ve ever come across one before. Also a part of the black for summer camp. Can confirm, it does not make me any hotter than any other colour I wear. The fabric and cut do all the lifting in that department 😊
Hi Emma, wow the skirt is beautiful on you. I think how it falls and flows is really pretty. I think its a good item for in between seasons, too 😊 i thought about getting sandals from alohas, too, but i thought they could be too heavy for a summer sandal - what do you think or how is your experience, could you walk a whole day in those? I wear Birkenstock most summer, too, they are really comfortable 😊 And, i recently bought a really awesome sisal basket bag from Etsy, which was hand made in kenia. Kiondo bags are they called and i must say, i am a fan 😊 so, if you or other people here in the comments are looking for basket bags for summer, i highly recommend looking for those kenia kiondo bags, love that for me! (I would describe my style as a little more casual/outdoorsy than Emmas, not as clean and minimal). Have a nice day everybody
M&S has really surprised me recently, I was in for something else but came away with 2 summer dresses and a pair of the linen striped trousers. They had a few things that caught my eye which isn’t usually the case! Love the little liffner tote and the t-shirt dress was something a bit different, it was lovely on you.
I bought linen wide leg trousers and shirts from M&S on your recommendation and I couldn’t be happier with them! Fab fit and great value for money . Ps. Your linen blazer 🤤🤤
Beautiful pieces! I wear black year round and I always feel pulled together in this colour. The Cos dress is stunning on you and such a great design. I wish I could wear this style of dress but with my 160 cm frame, it is not flattering. I really like the Alohas sandals look stylish and comfortable. I am going to check out their website to see what other designs they have.
In the link Emma for the marks and spencer dress which i love its only showing a green colour not the black, do you know if the black is available please ? X
You have such a cool relaxed vibe which makes me love to watch your vedios with a cup of tea in hand ❤️😍 we both have the same taste of fashion, I adore every piece you show in your vedios 😍❤️
Thanks Emma 😊 I’d love to watch your summer collection clothes for very hot weather over 30 C degrees How to keep it fresh confortable and stylish at the same time… sometimes I struggle !
Hi Emma , you look wonderful with every outfit , I love their simplicity and quality . With your videos I learned first of all to buy items of quality that are worn year after year without spending a lot , by the way I couldn’t afford it 😅. Then I want to say you are the most natural, lovely and beautiful RUclipsr I know …lots of love from Italy …Cinzia💕
Emma please can you tell me what size you were in the cos black dress, im not sure what size to order as i am a size 12, it says a small is a 10/12 and a med is 14/16, does the sizing come up a bit small ? Would you go for the med if size 12 ? Many thanks
It could indeed, although I don’t usually use it in the basket bag either 🙈 I can’t be bothered faffing with a bag within a bag, especially when I don’t live somewhere where I need to be careful of my belongings being so vulnerable x
Some lovely additions! Loving those sandals and the COS dress. Oh, and that Me+Em skirt (it isn't for me, because I'm petite, but if i was taller....).
Hi Emma, I really love your videos and style. Believe or not yesterday I was tidying up my wardrobe and let your RUclips channel on for hours. Love to listen you chatting at the background x by the way your black vest link is not working in the description x
The skirt link does not work 😢. I wish that the size range of your blazer would be more inclusive. I’m fat and I don’t like fat influencers buying from shein but the problem with sizes is a fact. Sorry for the mixed feedback but it’s a struggle.
We did make a wider size range for the black blazer as a trial, only a couple sold so which meant we were left with excess stock that wasn’t selling. So because of this we decided to go back to the original size range to reduce waste and unsold stock. I’m afraid it’s just down to demand x
Hi Emma. Many congrats on your new linen blazer and you should be proud as it’s a beautiful design and I’m a huge fan of linen.I adore blazers but summer ones have rather a limited season here in Greece as spring is usually very short lived and it’s almost impossible to wear full length sleeves once the temperatures start to rise. As always your choice of summer wear is chic, simple and uncluttered and I always admire your style.🥰❤️

So I was told that black is a great colour to wear in the sun, that’s why people in Middle Eastern countries mainly wear black. It does absorb heat from the sun, faster than lighters colours but it also absorbs heat from the body unlike lighter colours therefore making you cooler as it’s drawing out your body heat. That’s what I was told by my science teacher at sixth form which was many years ago but if the middle easterners are wearing black that’s enough evidence for me as they’re dealing with hot temperatures all the time.

Massimo dutti basket bags are so good. I have a basket bag from their collection last year and ive used that bag more than any other bag
Thank you for your good work, Emma. I always find new inspiration.

So lovely and stylish as usual 😊 the Em & Me skirt looks so lovely on and so wearable for years to come.
That asymmetrical black dress looks amazing on you Emma 😍
Some nice items - I especially like the basket bag as I always look for leather rather than plastic straps and the black makes a pleasant change

I'm with you Emma: black rules! My favourite in any season! X 🖤🖤🖤
I used to love black, but now that I'm hitting 50, it just seems to drain me and make me look older 😞
@@kerryp8250i feel the same way, but I decided to wear a bold color lipstick and I think it does work to counteract the black

M&S linen is really nice, I have the striped trousers too and they are perfect ;-)
Black pleated dress seems very useful, cozy and elegant.
I also love an elasticated waist and I’ve been trying to find jeans with an elasticated waist for sooo long - anyone have any recs?

Hi Emma, the Hermes Chypre sandals are pronounced shee-pr, it's French for Cyprus :)
Thank you! That makes sense given the style of the sandals x
Morning Emma! Love your new items, as always. Bought the navy M & S elasticated trousers from one of your last videos, fab 😊
Oooo lovely! Gotta love those elasticated waistbands 🙌🏼
Some lovely additions! Loving those sandals and the COS dress. Oh, and that Me+Em skirt (it isn't for me, because I'm petite, but if i was taller....).
I was just thinking that, if it fits, you could use the pouch from the MD basket bag in the LL one (my first thought was a bad organiser with a zip).

Hello ❤ that’s the first time such an unbearable heat in Britain?
We have unbearable heat most Summers because our homes are not Summer appropriate, they’re built to retain heat and we have no air con 🙈
Hellooooooooo ❤❤❤❤
British scientists have found out that black is not hotter than light colors... :D
can you say more about this myth with black?
