Nice job Marc! When replacing the top monitor, it looks like that 3 hinged bracket might just lift up and out. Would have made installing the bracket on the replacement monitor much easier if that is the case. I have seen rack cabinets that have a similar type of hing on the doors. To remove those, I just lift the door off the hinges. Not sure if your monitor bracket works the same way? On the monitor itself; Check to see if there is a fuse on or inside the monitor case. Since your old monitor did not seem to have any power at all, may be a simple fix.
Yeah, it does lift up but I felt I would actually have a harder time trying to line the hinge up LOL. Yeah, does have a fuse and checked out good on multimeter. Someone suggested the backlight might be out. Sounds possible. Those monitors are cheap and easy to fine, so I wasn’t too worried about having to repair it LOL. Maybe when I’m down to my last one. Thanks for watching!
As you were plugging those cables back in I was sitting here going power down power down. LOL As far as dropping screws, it's not a matter of when I do it, it's how many. LOL. And of course they always seem to bounce and land right in a gap between a logic board and mounting wall. That's when the, expletive deleted, headache really kicks in. LOL
Great video Marc. I enjoyed it. Such a fun game to play. I feel I get more bonuses on this game than just about any other I play. Keep up the awesome videos. Congrats on the 50k with you and Brantley!
If it was getting dim the backlights probably burned out or the power circuit for it went if you put a bright flashlight and see an image you may be able to repair by replacing lights or checking power
Oh man, you are so right about that. I have a bb1 in the garage that I have to wear gloves to even work inside because of that disgusting black residue.
Hi home/I have an old double diamond deluxe slot machine an S plus model with the 10 MHz board. The credit display does not work at all I think the board is burnt out for it do you know where I could find a replacement
Is it just the credit display that is not working? It could be the power supply - I had that happen once. If you think the board is completely dead, check on Ebay - I saw one on there. They are getting pricey though, just a heads up.
I have a double double bonus poker machine the sit down type by IGT and the monitor went out how hard is it to have it fixed and how much money ?. It’s the tube type monitor
I really enjoy your natural skills working on these units. Looks easy!!
Sometimes it is sometimes it isn’t LOL. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Marc
It was fun seeing the repair... Thanks...
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!

Not at all the monitor I expected... Fascinating stuff Marc. 😎
It was amazing!
Good thing you had a good monitor on hand.

Yeah, good point. You’re probably right.
Your very lucky to own a Lord of the Rings slots, I could play this game for hours
Nice video Marc.
Man speaking of speakers, the foam on the cable harness for the BB2 can get quite disgusting

It’s just the credits Display you know where it says winner paid credits and coins and none of those work

That would be a tough find. You can convert to LCD, but those are pricey $690 or so. Check out spininc.com
How hard is it to convert it over?
@@gfs2012 Not sure to be honest, not something I’ve ever done.
OK thank you. I’m getting to old to move the machine or i don’t know what to do with the thing? But thank you for your time
To bad the machine looks great and worked perfect till now.
Is it not possible to buy replacement parts from the manufacturer?
Nope, not for discontinued machines like this one.
