Zay deserves therapy. We can’t just point the finger at one person, IMO. They’re young and have a lot of growing to do.
Anybody who has hooked up with someone they’re attracted to would know the way Rae and Jake talked and behaved with each other seemed like they absolutely did have s*x. And seeing Rae’s face looking so jealous and guilty after her trial marriage with Jake. Plus if you’re Rae & Jake it would just make sense to deny that they hooked up because they couldn’t possibly look worse than they already do.

I think that Rae decided after shortly interacting with Jake that she didn't want to get back together with Zay. I think that she thought that she and Jake were a hit, and that she safely could leave her relationship with Zay and still leave with April's man. When she went back to Zay, she didn't even try to reconnect with him, instead she shut down and made any effort from him to rebuild their relationship impossible. It's easy to point the finger at him, but he's not giving interviews or talking about her one way or the other. I think that he was done with her first. Continuously, he was asking her to open up, which is not an unreasonable request, but she refused. She decided that all of the relationship rules that governed their relationship should only apply to him, while she made it clear that she wanted to further explore the possibility of more with Jake. Like, I didn't understand her anger at him, when she brought him there to see if being there would help him to want to propose marriage, but after spending time with Jake, even after Zay was willing to propose, it was not something that she should wanted anymore, despite that being the reason she brought him there. From the beginning, it was clear that Zay needed some counseling for the childhood trauma he suffered, it was apparent that he had some serious coping issues and lacked the proper tools and maturity to resolve conflict without confrontation or offense. He needed help with that, not to be dragged onto a show where he could be triggered coming and going. Perhaps it would have been better to encourage him to do the hard work of healing those wounds than to give him an ultimatum that was destined for failure, because the truth is, in general, they don't really work 😉

Chile Rae didn't give a damn about his healing...she wanted to be on TV lol....and I don't believe for one second she didn't sleep with Jake. I think she slept with him..and he didn't fulfill her in that way...which is why she went back to Zay

I 100% agree with you. I felt bad for him. He has communication issues but he definitely used the experience to become better. Rae played the poor me victim card way to much. The way he was treated at the reunion was so wrong! For them to let rae yell and raise her voice at Zay and no one did anything to stop her abs when Zay would speak (not yell or raise his voice to a level which rae was at) he was told to chill out! Yeah I think he was treated badly by the show, the crew and cast!

They were awful together. Total opposites as far as communication goes. He did have a lot of misunderstandings & got mad too much, but she seemed too fearful & withdrawn & didn’t know how to speak up for herself. Both had their problems & both need therapy. I think totally different types of people would be a better match for each of them. I feel like Zay would do ok with someone with more emotional intelligence so they could speak for themselves & see the problems for what they actually were.
Zay had an issue with comprehension and keeping his cool! Even when Shanique was trying to talk to him in a calm voice, he would lose his cool. It was still evident that he hadn’t matured enough to handle conflict. Even with him cautioning Vanessa Lachey “ to be nice” showed he had a hard time dealing with this. As for Rae, her not speaking up when dealing with aggression is very understandable especially if she was not raised with that kind of response. She mentioned many times that the biggest issue was his aggressive behavior in discussions.
Ya, Zay talks over her every time she talks so why talk. I think he is emotionally abusive but he doesn't understand it and won't try. He just talks and talks but it doesn't really go anywhere. She says how she feels and he doesn't consider it. He just argues.
I agree, I think that he lacked the emotional maturity to be able to handle this show, which was laden with triggers that he was not mature enough to navigate, even though he did try. He definitely needs some therapy to deal with his childhood traumas.

There is allot of reasons I wasn't a Raw fan definitely here ability to shut off and take emmotion off to the person she said she wanted to marry whom she did that out the gate which should of been a red flag. She was trying to figure out Zay and was over it for a time when he finally turned around. I was in a makeup and breakup relationship like that before and totally understand.
