I'm absurdly grateful to them for giving us the F-16A Block 15 ADF _before_ the Block 10 in the tech tree. That's the National Guard variant that didn't come out until 1989.
It's good for the grind, but in my opinion it doesn't make much sense. The ADF appeared 7 or 8 years after the normal Block 10, and apart from being newer, its armament, systems and airframe are more refined. Also I'm still not sure why they removed its air to ground ordinance, that seems a pretty artificial nerf to me... Cool addition nonetheless

One thing you must be careful about however is getting to slow, below Mach .5 you start to feel the sluggishness. I fought and ADF in my Tomcat and I put out my wings, flaps down and I got inside his circle.
The F-16 is strongest at 700kmh so if you don’t wanna get slow just turn around in a two circle and get back behind them. A Hornet would be far better for doing scissors.

Start by a dive directly at q base that has another base clise to it ( 2 bases beside each other) 4 bombs for each
Go straight to your base killing some ai on the way with your 7.62
Some planes will come on your back going in a straigh line with minimal evading is recommended and try to hit their engines with ur turret since they have weak engines a damaged one will lead them to crash i return to the airfield with 2 bases with 4 to 5 ai kills and 1 or 2 planes after taking off i go for bases if left but if not i will focus on ground targets cuz aa is the bain of this plane so bombing airfields is not recommended
Bonus:do not forget to have smoke always on to piss the enemies 🤣
The flight model is not near completion. It should have slightly higher thrust, it shouldn’t be g limited but instead AOA limited which should allow it to turn twice as hard to make it the 2 circle fighter it was meant to be. It needs some changes
The difference between the 7F and 7M is the warhead on the M is 2 pounds heavier, so I dont see them changing it
The M in 7m stands for mono pulse referencing the seeker which gives it much better chaff resistance

They already changed the aim9L, the flare resistance is great again
The difference between the Aim-7F and the Aim-7M is that the M has a lot higher chaff resistance but that's about it
With the way aim-7s are modeled right now that chaff resistance doesn’t matter

If I remember right, the 7M also has a terminal guidance phase, but I could be wrong here
Both can be defeated by turning away from the missile. Problem is that most people are going too fast to make the turn lol

to answer the question of the differences of the two
the M is a essentially a completely new sparrow. M stands for Mono-pulse, as it uses a mono-pulse seeker which gives it significant seeker improvements and advantages over the E/F. Think better sensitivity and accuracy of the seeker, far better countermeasure resistance, and overall just a better seeker and guidance system.
If only Gaijin actually implemented that. The 7M does some really, really weird shit. Randomly turns off and starts doing loops when you still have a perfect radar lock.

The AIM-7F is a significantly older version then the AIM-7M, with the latter boasting a more powerful motor extending the range quite a bit, better seeker and on some aircraft, lofting flight profiles. The M is a much better missile overall, with the only real advantage of the F being the cost, but not by much. And even if it was significant, we all know how much the US military cares about cost xd
This is off the top of my head, to take it with a grain of salt.

F-16A Block 15 ADF has the same larger elevator, IRL it shouldn't do anything because it was to balance the 5R 5L TGP stations.

I'm taking a bit of a far step here but if Gaijin adds AIM-9x's then they would make the maneuverability 50% less and make it able to one flare

The nerf they did on the F-14's RADAR has made it near unplayable. and sign of the enemy notching and BOOM no lock any more
Not sure it was a nerf. They added different modes now. Watch Tim's Variety he will have a new radar guide out soon with the info.

@@Takemura76 no I was genuinely loosing every lock, before hand I could easily get kills and I know it's not just me, my mate are having the same issue and the fact F-14 aren't killing me and only IR missiles that the F-14 physically can't flare are killing me

Not gonna lie, the MiG-29's missiles let it down pretty hard. Watching this and seeing all the people those missiles kill regardless of the flares is super annoying. F-16 is definitely a better armed plane.
The R-27Ts literally don't lock flares, they only lock planes themselves. It is the single most busted plane in game rn.

I got a 5 kill game the first match I used the f16 but to be fair the enemy team was filled to the brim with mig23mls and j7ds
Would the F-5E be a decent grinder for the F-16? Been thinking of putting a talisman on it. I find that it's nutty in downtiers and it does get a few more of those now...which is nice. Still though, I wish it had AIM-9L's but it's only got two 9J's at 11.0. Tbh I'd love to have it at 10.7
The 5E should not drop to 10.7 at all. But I would like to see it get some L's!
Give it some 9Ls or maybe some aim7e2s and bump it 11.3 and I'd say it's perfect.

The 7M is so bad compared to the 7F. Its like they messed up with the Coding for it, and made it so flares can affect it, even with continued Radar lock
I haven't had any issues with it, works just as well as the 7F for me. I'm almost positive it's server issues right now, same with the 9Ls randomly missing

Bro F-16 is lightweight fighter which same as F-104 and F-5E. I think the F-15 will after the F-4E which both them are USAF and heavy fighter. F-18 will after the F-14 bc both them are Navy vehicle.
How did the 9 L change? in the changelog it only appears that the F4 EJ KAI has obtained them
9L isn't nearly as flares resistant. It'll chase flares pretty easily now

bs. they nerfed mig29 so much that its the real "dead on arival" plane. aim9L going 30 g and even more flare resistance than before. mig airframe even more nerfed, r27 even more nerfed (eccm is a lie). usa getting the "suprise you get what you've been crying about so much with a missile that was not in test server to be seen if it is balanced or not". but nooo r73 is so strong that it needs removal, not even nerfing. i was actually excited for a "balanced" update where almost everyone got something. instead its even more stomping from usa and me getting clapped by eccm aim9L cuz fck balance
9Ls are chasing flares a lot now, some planes just have too hot of engines to flares them off without dropping throttle.
