Hello guys. It's ac. I had a croissant for breakfast this morning. This is a good thing, because I love croissants.
Anyway, I think I finally got the amount of time each question is on screen right. Hopefully, anyway. Between this one and the last round of questions, Fuuta's handwriting got neater, but I'm like 95% sure it's just because it used to be hard to read. Muu's is pretty much the same. They used one brush for her first question, and then another one for the rest of them. You can tell by the brushes that these are being written out digitally, which is funny, because if I were them I would write them out traditionally and then just scan them. But I'm not complaining because it means I can do them digitally too, which is easier for me.
This round of questions and answers was a little boring but the gender one is kind of hilarious. That was definitely sent in by an English speaking fan.

Him and Kotoko killed for the same reason (except Fuuta didn't mean for the girl to khs but yk), so why isn't Kotoko guilty too? Why was she allowed to wander scott-free and hurt the guilty ones? Mahiru nearly died because of her
So technically, we are hypocritical for this
So, here are my thoughts:
1. Futa’s answers to 18 and 20 really make him seem more remorseful than he seemed in Backdraft. I’m happy he finally admitted that. And I know I say this in almost every season 2 Milgram related thing, but those answers further support the vibe I’m getting that the creators want us to stop judging these people. I wouldn’t put it past them at this point to actually kill one of the prisoners just to make us the same as Futa as a reality check.
2. Interesting how Mu implies in question 8 that everyone has a screw loose except her. It seems that she doesn’t have a very high opinion of Haruka despite them supposedly being friends.
3. Both Futa and Mu put “like” in quotations for question 3. I don’t know the nuances of the use of the word (sukina) in Japanese, but if it does just mean “like” as in finding someone enjoyable, agreeable, or favorable, then I think it’s interesting that Mu doesn’t like the people she calls friends.
4. They *really* seem to want us to vote Mu guilty. I don’t think they’ve done a single unsubtle thing to make her likable this season. This really makes me worried for Haruka. If the vibe I’m getting in point 1 is true, then they are probably goading us into voting Mu guilty so Es (and by extension, we as the audience) would be a “murderer” by the same standards as the other prisoners.

i agree with you on the not judging them. With so many prisoners in the drama tracks and songs telling us we are just like them, its quite obvious we arent supposed to judge them but in reality its hard to make it so the entire fandom will stop voting. it seriously creeps me out and im scared about the results either way.... it feels like forgiven or not, it just ends up badly in the end ??? there's no winning :')
I also think maybe the warden is actually the same as the prisonners (in the sense we kileld someone) or the goal is to make us the cause of someone's death and then be subjected to the same judgement as the one we put on the prisonners.

@@zxvx39r8e That’s the impression I was getting too. I just wasn’t entirely sure if the word could have a double meaning like how “like” could be interpreted as love in English depending on conversation.
I’m pretty certain we will be judged at the end. But i don’t think we should stop voting alltogether. We shouldn’t let them think we’re acting like hypocrites (Fuuta/Kotoko was pretty unjust i guess). Some cases have similar background. For example i feel that both Amane and Kotoko killed because of their beliefs, both of them had no doubts they were right. But we judged them differently thus this makes us unjust. At first they said we were free to judge however we wanted to but now they are making it clear that there are severe consequences to our judgments. Basing our judgments on some criterias and abiding by them is the best we can do.
I like how in t1 when fuuta was asked, he said he took care of haruka cause he’s younger but now he’s saying how he “isn’t a kid” lmao 😭 all milgram inmates hate those two
It is going to be more easy to write theories about Mu's crime now that we know the victim's name. Is shorter than the brown hair girl.

fuuta's sister being a beautician makes so much sense and his mention of "girl talk" last trial makes me think she tries to talk to him about her job which has given me the mental image of her trying out new makeup and skincare on him begrudgingly of course and muu's dad being a landlord I don't even have to say anything twitter already has
and the gender question was so out of nowhere but so welcome fuuta doesn't want to be malewife anymore just wife lmao (also this gives me unbelievable hopes for kazui being gay like out of how many questions they chose that one)

Muu's psychopathic character feels very real. She doesn't like the prisoners but also says it's better to forgive everyone. It's really whatever goes for her. That's why she dislikes Yuno. Yuno's wishy-washy and doesn't commit to her own opinions, yet she dislikes Muu for her callousness. So it makes Muu feel slimy for kissing up to people.

Honestly I rapidly grew to dread seeing what Futa's response was going to be to each question, let this man resssst. But legit, nothing hurt worse than seeing that he doesn't care about Haruka anymore 😭

Fr though I wish she was voted guilty first round bc she did seem like she was somewhat willing to accept that she was in the wrong before, now it seems unlikely she will ever accept her own culpability in being a bully herself. I still wanna see more specific evidence of what happened both ways and get a better understanding of her character because mv2 seems like way too much of a 180 from mv1 for either to be an accurate depiction of her. I think she’s complicated and I’m willing to give her benefit of the doubt based on mv3, but for now she’s guilty

Thanks for translating these! It's nice to know Rei's name. It's odd that she's the only victim with a known face and name. I wonder what Fuuta is going to do now that he's become so apathetic. As for Mu, I think it's silly how her judgement was reversed so badly just because people didn't like her new attitude. That's kinda evil, I think. I don't know if I would have forgiven her in trial 1 (maybe I would have), but her last video/interrogation didn't do anything to change what she did.
(It did show she was originally a bully though, which was only theorised before)

But regardless of that, I don't think that makes her murder better or worse. I don't think being a bully has anything to do with killing your bully.

Something I noticed is that Fuuta's handwriting is really messy and changes sizes while Muu's is casual but tidy. Almost in a "cutesy" way but still casual. Is it just me?
Actually in the jp version his handwriting isn't considered messy. He has good handwriting but he just writes very fast. I kinda like it ngl
