I might get flamed for this take but Yuno is my least favourite prisoner. It seems like she gets to do whatever she wants without any sense of responsibility. I personally don’t mind abortion as a last resort, but abusing this service to fix your irresponsibilities just because it’s convenient doesn’t sit right with me at all. Like she could’ve gone on birth control or used a condom at least??? And she explicitly stated that it wasn’t like she didn’t have a choice. Maybe it’s because I have quite strong morals, but it pains me to see how abortion is not a big deal to a lot of people at all, at least in this comment section.

From what I have made of how Orekoto/John describes these events to Es: it does seem like he's painting himself as someone so vile and unforgivable, while Mikoto is the faultless angel in this situation

I love Fuuta sm, he's so real. Poor guy really just needs a rest, therapy and some decent friends in his life

God, Haruka gives me such mixed feelings. On one hand I have a hard time forgiving his crimes (I have unreasonably high empathy towards animals and unshakable disdain for people who murder them without good reason), but on the other hand his answers to questions always make me feel really bad for him. The simple and naïve way he thinks comes through the best in his writing I think, and reading these it's so hard not to see him as just a lonely neglected kid who needs a loving guardian and professional help. It's horribly sad how his life has turned out.

Muu's psychopathic character feels very real. She doesn't like the prisoners but also says it's better to forgive everyone. It's really whatever goes for her. That's why she dislikes Yuno. Yuno's wishy-washy and doesn't commit to her own opinions, yet she dislikes Muu for her callousness. So it makes Muu feel slimy for kissing up to people.

Maybe I'm just looking purely at what happened and the reasons, but voting amane guilty is fucking insane. A twelve year old, abused girl who was brainwashed by a cult, are we gonna sit here and say she is guilty? Honestly that genuinely gets on my nerves, she needs help and therapy not punishment.

Honestly I can't understand why the community would vote her guilty in the first trial. Sure, part of it is her fault, but you can't deny the fact that her lover is not innocent in this. Mahiru's not a stalker; we can clearly see a hand giving her drinks in the first trial MV. Then, the lover voluntarily decided to be by her side. If he feels their relationship is toxic and can't deal with it anymore, he should just talk about it straightforwardly with her, ask her for some time to cool down or even end the relationship there. Yet he chose to take his own life, which clearly broke Mahiru even more than asking for a breakup. Seriously, honest communications should've saved this couple.

I love how Es as this second season progressed, he became more empathetic as he became more involved with the prisoners, since at the beginning he didn't even have problems with immobilize a child or say he didn't give a fuck their problems now even worrying abt them
