His Character In This Movie Is A Teenager, And Teenagers Act Like That All The Time, Especially When They’ve Done Something They Are Not Supposed To Do, If They Feel Guilty, Or If They Are Over Dramatic. RIP James “Jimmy” Dean.

just watched it again. hadn't seen it in years. i think jimmy was great in this. i mean he's playing a very troubled teenager. his dad doesn't give a crap about him and he doesn't know why. but we find out later and all the pieces come together. some awkwardness was definitely needed for this character.
