You can tell her vocal technique is amazing because her stability and consistency from top to bottom as well as being able to harmonise perfectly each time and sound crystal clear and projected beautifully. Sometimes it’s not always about high notes but how well you handle throughout the performance. You can tell all 3 of them are true vocalist.

I actually don't care about high notes. All I care about is how they sound stable while singing live. After I joined classic vocal course for almost 3 years, that truly determines if you're a good singer or not. High vocal range is a bonus and sometimes a gift. But a stable vocal needs more work and training. These three just showed that they are all indeed good singers. So proud of them 😊
NO CAUSE THEY ARE ALL SO PERFECT FOR THIS SONG. i literally never ever said this and not even exaggerating but each person ACTUALLY nails and fits their parts of the song. this is not a blind compliment, this is a genuine opinion. Ailee VERY powerful's voice, LILY's classically western timbre and crisp voice, and Yuju's unique sultry tone are SO PERFECT for this kinda song.
Really loved Ailees guidance here. How she interacted with both Yuju and Lily and supported them. Her vocals really shined. Hope to hear more from her again in the near future.
It's interesting to see how the difference in their stage experience can be shown through their expressiveness on stage. Ailee is clearly the most experienced - she has both the greatest expressiveness through body language and the greatest amount of audience interaction. Like in 1:03, where she stares directly at the camera and tilts her head when singing "This is Me" to indicate a change in mood. Also, unlike the other two, who are largely standing straight, she stands initially on the back foot (0:14, and again at 0:51) to express the pain and defensiveness of the opening verse, and then later as the lyrics show more confidence to tackle the haters, she shifts forward in the second verse (1:37) to express pride and confidence. Also, hand gestures at 1:39 and 2:32. Plus of course, getting the audience to sing along at 1:23. Lily is the most inexperienced, since she's still largely a rookie. She know how to vibe to the song - you can see her dancing along a little from 1:13 onwards. But it's still largely self-contained and her movements just express her love of singing - she hasn't learned yet how to make every movement of hers on stage either involve the audience or express the song further. Like at 1:47, when she is singing "we are bursting through the barricades, reaching for the sun, we are warriors, yeah, that's what we'll become", the difference between her body language and Ailee's body language in expressing the song is obvious. But it's okay, this is something she'll learn with time. Right now, I think she's just focused on singing well on stage with senior singers and not messing up. Though she does have flashes of performance strength when she learns how to interact with the other singers on stage singing together during the call-and-response section at 1:26. Yuju is in between those two. One of the major differences, obviously, is that she is an introvert while the other two are extroverts, so her expressions tend to be more muted and subtle. Like if you pause the screen at 2:20 when they all sing "Look out 'cause here I come", that's a clear example of the difference in expressiveness - Ailee goes all out with flung-out arm, Lily waves her hand to give expression but not to communicate, while Yuju puts her hand out clearly but quietly towards the audience in a "stop, look out" sign. Yuju also is able to establish an intimacy of communication with the audience (and camera) with her facial expressions and inviting hand gestures at 1:58 ("I know that there's a place for us"), and express the song lyrics through hand movements and facial expressions at 1:16 ("I'm not scared to be seen, I make no apologies, this is me").

It's interesting to see how the difference in their stage experience can be shown through their expressiveness on stage.
Ailee is clearly the most experienced - she has both the greatest expressiveness through body language and the greatest amount of audience interaction. Like in 1:03, where she stares directly at the camera and tilts her head when singing "This is Me" to indicate a change in mood. Also, unlike the other two, who are largely standing straight, she stands initially on the back foot (0:14, and again at 0:51) to express the pain and defensiveness of the opening verse, and then later as the lyrics show more confidence to tackle the haters, she shifts forward in the second verse (1:37) to express pride and confidence. Also, hand gestures at 1:39 and 2:32. Plus of course, getting the audience to sing along at 1:23.
Lily is the most inexperienced, since she's still largely a rookie. She know how to vibe to the song - you can see her dancing along a little from 1:13 onwards. But it's still largely self-contained and her movements just express her love of singing - she hasn't learned yet how to make every movement of hers on stage either involve the audience or express the song further. Like at 1:47, when she is singing "we are bursting through the barricades, reaching for the sun, we are warriors, yeah, that's what we'll become", the difference between her body language and Ailee's body language in expressing the song is obvious. But it's okay, this is something she'll learn with time. Right now, I think she's just focused on singing well on stage with senior singers and not messing up. Though she does have flashes of performance strength when she learns how to interact with the other singers on stage singing together during the call-and-response section at 1:26.
Yuju is in between those two. One of the major differences, obviously, is that she is an introvert while the other two are extroverts, so her expressions tend to be more muted and subtle. Like if you pause the screen at 2:20 when they all sing "Look out 'cause here I come", that's a clear example of the difference in expressiveness - Ailee goes all out with flung-out arm, Lily waves her hand to give expression but not to communicate, while Yuju puts her hand out clearly but quietly towards the audience in a "stop, look out" sign. Yuju also is able to establish an intimacy of communication with the audience (and camera) with her facial expressions and inviting hand gestures at 1:58 ("I know that there's a place for us"), and express the song lyrics through hand movements and facial expressions at 1:16 ("I'm not scared to be seen, I make no apologies, this is me").
