Oh No , I speak from My Heart! You didn’t defend me at all. I’m sure you didn’t defend Granny Pat. You sound very appreciative of your grandparents and great grandmother. I think that’s great. I had 5 brothers no sisters . I just wished I would have talked to mom and dad more about relatives that were gone. Learned more family history.Keep Your Chin Up! That’s what you need to Learn to do! It’s part of taking care of yourself! Have a Good Evening! ❤️🐝😘 BL from Ohio
I love it! Country/ farmhouse is my favorite. I have a couple of Barnwood pieces of furniture with my Chickens on them. I love the way you have your table set. And I love breakfast for Supper.❤ Debbie In Texas
Omg Donna Reed's back! I missed you. You should have the ladies in. The women in that vid. In your building would be honored. The little creamer. Hojos when I was a kid. Served syrup in them. Hojos hotcakes yummy. Pat your table is lovely. After a day at work. To come home to this❤
Granny Pat I don’t know how you do these table settings! This is not easy! Lovely pieces and great food. I’d eat all of this for supper also. Thx again for sharing.carson in Ohio. 🙏❤️🌺
Such a beautiful warm and inviting table. I have the pink piggy cookie jar, popular in the early 40's, and a wedding gift to my parents. Your piggy is so colorful and adorable. I am enjoying your tour of all the pretty things on your table. You have a story for each.
I love the tablesetting and that everything on it has its own story. You are so right about that things we have helps us remember, I often think about that which you said, because it is so true. The table is so cheerful, really makes you feel happy. 😊🌸🦋
Y'all hit the 👍 and share this. Gran Pat the table looks fantastic!!! Happy memorial day weekend to you. I hope some folks can learn how to decorate a wonderful table like this for their get togethers this weekend!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
I have barred rock bantam ceramic piece that looks just like that small blk one of yours...says made in occupied japan and has old woolworths price tag for 88 cents on it. Lovely place setting. That tomato pitcher is great!
Love it, Pat! You have such wonderful talent for creating beautiful tablescapes! Bravo! I enjoy setting an elaborate table too. For me, it makes me feel as happy and excited as it felt when I was a little girl and had tea parties and played house! ❤
Thank you for sharing that with me granny Pat you're such a blessing I love you watching now I don't know why it happened to you I've been trying to look for you can't find you have a blessed evening and God bless you good night
Hello Ms. Granny Pat. Glad to tune in on your informed video. I love your breakfast table setup and love the way you describe each item on the table. This video gives me memories of how my dear grandmother used to set up the table for breakfast & dinner. You have some beautiful centerpices & other items. Those items are sentimental. Not for sale. Well glad to hear your cheery voice. Have a pleasant weekend. Looking forward to the next informed interesting video. ❤❤
🌷Hi G Pat! The word that comes to mind as I watch your video is COMFORT. I like the partitioned honey/jam dish. So cute! Ive never seen a metal cozy before. You have so many pretty table things and the biscuits look so good sitting next to the jam and butter. Making me hungry. Those egg holders are egg cups and my husband said when he was young and living in England they called it eggs and soldiers. The toast pieces were the soldiers that dipped into the egg. My mom in law is from England and they still use them there. All your things are just so pretty! Thank you for sharing them with us and the related stories. I hope that folks see your table here and are inspired to take the extra effort to put out nice things on their table and enjoy their meals. Maybe invite a friend over too to share with. Thank you again G Pat…now I need to go looking for that divided jam dish! 🥚☕️🥓God bless…….🌷🕊️🌿💐🌸Cheri from IL
That divided dish should be easy to find in any pattern. I bought it because I liked it. The egg cup (codler): A young man from Ireland stayed a few weeks in my sister’s home in TN once. He was used to having a boiled egg each morning for breakfast. She borrowed my egg cups for his use. She had to learn exactly how long to boil his eggs.
You have inspired me to update my round dining table! Had a red white and blue tablecloth for years. Ordered a new heavy vinyl goldish tablecloth and now have new BEE decor! Found BEE placemats and petite desert plates with BEES. Also ordered BEE oven glove and hot pad! I painted a BEE Happy plaque myself! Recently found Fosteria juice glasses and added those! I’m tickled with my BEE table setting! Centerpiece is woven basket with honey salt and pepper and napkins! 🥰😄🥰
Hello, Granny Pat! 😊 It's been a real treat to spend some time with you once again. I enjoy all of your videos very much. You always make me feel as if I were your guest of honor when I see your beautiful table settings and antiques. That would take me all day to prepare for, and that's a generous estimate, honestly it is. I was raised on a farm and I love to see country themes...But I'm a real sucker for anything that sparkles too! ✨️ It's lovely how you always seem to pair the various styles to look so elegant. Boy, If my Momma was still alive she would just love your knack for all things classy and unique. You bring me comfort and warm-hearted memories of days and folks who've gone before me. I look forward to every video that you take the time to post. If you ever wonder, I would like to let you know, YES MA'AM, you make us feel loved. You bring me joy as a viewer, and I'd like to thank you so much, sweet friend, for all the effort and time you take to share with us, your stories, collectibles and thoughts and last but never least, the good belly-laughs! 😅 You're my sunshine on many a cloudy days! ✨️💛🌻🦋✨️ Sending all my love to you! ~♡.•°•.♡~ Kelly, In East Tennessee ❤
@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 I'm so sorry I made you cry.. I don't ever want to make you sad, Granny Pat.. I really need to work harder on this. I really enjoy a good laugh, but all my life I've been very sentimental, and I suppose I have a tendency to either say too much, or nothing at all. 🤷♀️ Perhaps it's my curse? I took your advice and I found the videos of your other followers, that which you recommended. I found Corky's tea time, Billy Gene, and the lady who made your She Crab Soup recipe! I found them all enjoyable! Especially Billy Gene! 💙 I really enjoyed him! You are most definitely loved, immensely. I understand that you don't feel like you are anyone special, just an ordinary person.. But I think we're all born with certain gifts and no two are the exact same. You are indeed very special ❤️ I am glad you chose to take your grandchildren's advice and make your channel a place where so many of us find you uplifting and interesting. I believe that you're helping many of us, in all different ways. Perhaps more than you know. I hope that you will find the reflection of love and deep admiration in return from those whom you've touched. (For me), it's several things... My grandparents raised me, and my Granny was born in 1923, so your stories and experiences in your days are so similar. I feel a warm-blanket of familiarity and maternal tenderness when you speak to us about your family. Your mother and father and siblings. I suppose you could say, it's a feeling that brings me back home. I listened intently to my grandparents stories, and no matter how many times they told them, I always wanted to hear them again, and again... My Granny was born premature, with an underdeveloped heart. She was born at roughly 6 months gestation. It was a true miracle that she survived without the modern day technology that wasn't available back then. She had lost several siblings as well. But she somehow beat the odds, and went on to become a beautiful woman, who loved nothing more than to dance in jitter-bug contests! Can you imagine? She was known for her long slender legs, and beautiful figure. She tried out as one of the girls in the Rockette's. Hard to imagine, a sickly little one, born with transparent skin, who had to be held on a pillow because she was so tiny. Yes, she lived to marry, and have 3 healthy children, and lived until she was 74. She passed in 1997. Boy, I wish I could show you her photos! She was a beautiful tall woman with olive skin, dark auburn hair and green eyes that always looked gold to me, almost like a wolf's eye. She was a gentle soul. My Grandfather was born in 1930. He was a twin. He was also a child of 8. They were so poor he left home in search of work at the tender age of 11. Yes, eleven years old. He became a real life cowboy in the Texas Plains. He met my Grandmother in a Cafe when he was 17 and they wed, 2 months later. My Grandfather became a self taught tradesman of many talents, ranging from livestock and farming, to building homes and handcrafted woodworking. He was considered a master at his trade. He built their first home from the ground up, and went on to build, and do restoration work on elaborate historical buildings. He lived for his family and was an excellent provider and husband. He lived until my youngest child was born in 2006. I am 50, but I feel like I have lived 100 lifetimes, in this one life. Maybe I'm what they call an old soul. When you tell us about your life, growing up, what items cost, automobiles - being quite a luxury for many, I remember the things my grandparents told me. As bittersweet as the memories are, they're still my favorite stories and I wouldn't trade them for anything, because they were authentic, and real. They weren't fictional. They happened to two people whom I loved dearly. And coming from me, for someone who didn't experience life in those days, I must tell you, they sure made me feel like I was right there alongside them for it all! I was very lucky to know my Great Grandmother. (My Grandfather's Mother). She lived until 1999. She passed on my Grandfather's birthday. She taught me how to sew, quilt and cook. She survived being struck by lightning! Not once, not twice, but three times! (We stayed away from her when it stormed). No lie! I wish I was making that up lol 😆 You know the saying, "Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction." - I know that's a fact! So many times, I watch your program and think to myself, I would enjoy Granny Pat's company so much.. I wish we could tell stories until the cows come home. So, until your next video, I will wait patiently. And I will try harder not to make you sad. I wish I could give you a hug, my sweet friend! ✨️💛🌻
Hi Kelly, You were fortunate to get to know your grandparents and a great grandmother. I think you should consider having your own video channel. I think you have a lot to share. I to am an old soul. I’ve always loved older people and babies. My grandparents were gone by the time I was seven. I sure would loved to have know them better. I never thought at the time to ask more questions about them to remember them. Maybe in the future you would consider doing videos. I’m getting ready for my 50th reunion out of high school. We are celebrating it tonight. Take Care! Bonnie Lou from Ohio ❤️🐝. I really enjoyed hearing your story.
@@bonnieallen3775 Thank You Bonnie! I hope you have an amazing evening at your reunion, tonight! I actually have a tremendous anxiety disorder, which prevents me from speaking publicly. I don't think I'm brave enough to tell stories on YT. But if I did, it would probably just depress everyone to tears! 😥 I might have to offer antidepressants, if so.. And That's the truth! 🤣 I didn't mean to sound like I was using Granny Pat's channel to tell my life story. I admire and respect her so very much. I was only trying to express a few reasons for how/why I relate with her material. I hope I haven't offended you, Granny Pat! But If I have, I am awful sorry. It wasn't my intention, if so. 😟 I thought if I told a little bit about about my background, it would help explain why I connect so deeply, maybe it would help me to make a little more sense, was all. I love you, dear friend! 🌻💐✨️
the cream was also used over hot oatmeal or other hot cereal, and the pitcher with the tomato was probably for tomato juice which was a substitute for orange juice in a lot of homes back then
Oh my goodness....beautiful table setting. Yummmy!! I agree....breakfast for dinner is the best. Thank you for preparing all the eye candy for us!! ❤🐝fromCO.
Granny Pat, I finally bought your book, “Wait Til You Hear This One”, and it’s wonderful! You are a gifted writer as well as storyteller. Thanks for sharing your memories! Also, I LOVE breakfast any time of day or night! Carla in NJ ❤️

This video took me back to visiting at my grandparents house. ❤I’ve been waiting for you to make one of these videos with food you prepared, the fancy dish ware, and the decorations! Just beautiful! Thank you so much! Looking forward to many more of these! ❤️ We love Princess Pat!

That was inspiring. The rooster in the center. They would have that on Hojos breakfast menu. Sorry we went to hojos a lot. We never took vacation trips. So my brother and sister. Thought hojos a real luxury. My how times have changed. Funny story The Bunn glass coffeepots would rest on those warmers. I was mesmirized by those glass pots. Also 12 & under was reduced price. I was a big chubby kid. So the waitress at hojos. He's under 12?! My mom says yes. Ya wanna weigh him!. My dad went under the table. He only had a big mouth at home. To mom and I😂
I love this video! I spotted your Fiestaware right off the bat!😁 I've had my Fiestaware for decades and love it so much! All of my pieces are vintage, as yours are. I love everything on your table and I'm so glad you shared all of it with us!💜💜💜

Loved your beautiful table setting! It was interesting to hear about the story of the drinking glasses! We are very familiar with Oak Ridge, living just 25 minutes from there! There is so much history in that Secret City! Keep making videos. You're amazing!❤

Thank You Bonnie!
I didn't mean to sound like I was using Granny Pat's channel to tell my life story.
Love each piece. Did a wonderful job

Always beautiful!!!
I love it Granny ❣️Prettiest breaking/supper table.🥰
Excellent!
Yum! Dinner time here and I would love me some breakfast 🔥
Hi granny pat
the cream was also used over hot oatmeal or other hot cereal, and the pitcher with the tomato was probably for tomato juice which was a substitute for orange juice in a lot of homes back then
They also made the juice sets with oranges/apples, and probably cherries. I had the orange pitcher/glasses when I first married.
Thank you Granny Pat! ❤ I love every single piece! 😘

My,my,my what a wonderful spread! You are so clever and talented. Once I collected lots of pretty things and did lots of entertainment, but my life style has changed at 81. Still do lots of cooking, but usually taking it someplace else. Huh? All was a delight and good visit ing with you. J, jn TN
Your table is gorgeous. Everything is perfect!
I was eyeing your Fiesta collection in the background.
I love the country setting.
To mom and I😂
Stunning table set up and pieces! The food looks delicious too made me hungry!! Thank you Granny Pat for uploading!
Thank you precious Pat! That was very enjoyable!

They are too busy. She sells antiques. He is busy remodeling the old farmhouse. It will be a beauty.
You need a little vintage gift shop downstairs in your lobby!
Loved your beautiful table setting! It was interesting to hear about the story of the drinking glasses! We are very familiar with Oak Ridge, living just 25 minutes from there! There is so much history in that Secret City! Keep making videos. You're amazing!❤
Lived in Clinton, TN during the war.
