This game and its soundtrack still rank among the best of all time. I used to throw this game in my CD player all the time and listen to these tracks.
I still remember that holy shit feeling when I first found the blue whale on this game, having no idea I was about to swim up on it.
The 90s kicked so much ass for gaming.

I noticed I played Ecco a lot even after I beat the game, bought the second one, Tides of Time ,same thing. I realized it was the music that was keeping me involved. I own the third,Defender of the Future, but an looking for the first two again. Like most people I didn't appreciate what I had till it was gone. My Childhood... This and Sonic CD also...
As a Sonic CD Fan, this was made by the same compositor that made the Sonic CD OST for USA and Latin America (That's where i'm from) and THIS is one of the reasons why it's sad USA OST didn't had Past themes as they surely would sound like some tracks here... PCM was configured to work on NTSC already on 1993 and the true reason why they didn´t come out were the delay of relasing date (The game was delayed 1 month because of that)

The whole aspect of the entire planet is preserving life more than reproducing. As an individual, I would not accept that my own self reproduction with a female is on the behalf of the entire humanity and nature... This served in example in games such as Sonic the Hedgehog and also this. Won't this makes me naturally a better person but observing the bigger picture, the whole planet suffer or stand for the consumable actions I have perform on the planet which may serve the purpose of life preservation, and it's balance.
I am a counter-product of inspirations such as colonialism, industry, cloture and the such. Many years has been stand for preservation of sexual relations, so artwork and machinery such as the SEGA Genesis were made in desperate attempt to keep it's period youth from far greater destruction such as unhealthy engagement with the other sex. Thing that automatically kept me away from reproducing in a wrong way, ignited others to dance or perform to the music they hear on the SEGA Genesis products. What they claimed was bad, was far out close to much more destructive behavior of using drugs, alcohol, crime related behavior and so forth. You have been proving yourself a better future, even if far from optimal than losing everything with a needle injected into your veins. You could cry for the loss of your peers in the battle such as military forces and the civilians, however. I see the battle getting worse each time I see a homeless crisis accompanied by ignorance of these who seek the wrong connection between the hardware and use of pop-cloture as well as education the have received on high school, as some found "Electrobank" by the Chemical Brothers to inspire an act for a ransom or a motive to secure manipulation against banks, other learnt the method, said, to discover later they cannot use credit cards or pay their bills when holding a noisy device such a stereo system when they approach to close to a commercial area... Another example that gets the joke made in a very upset beat and a bitter point of view is Yo' Mama by Fatboy Slim. It opts to show desperation of real artist to perform without the guilt of crossing the lines of strict order, broken before by these who wish to harm, cheat and steal. as one wish to perform without the accountability he has to face trough as one without having his hand tied behind it's back allow himself increased ability... These who might get you in trouble as well if a song is copyrighted and is disgraceful to perform without authority permission.
Up to date we keep our struggle to handle our society in a way it will decrease problems such as pollution, crime rates, poverty, and inept behavior of it's citizens who face the everyday struggles on their behold.
Speaking about relation between similar kinds of behavior, society sometimes may be mislead by the way their helpers and service providers acts and might find these as harmful or having harmful intention toward these who the aim to provide their support. This is for the mistake that a criminal or a wrong doer did so before and to prevent further threat in insight, you might see artists, activists, scientists and help provided by citizens being held from being given.
If you start to wonder why so many of these creative artists and aid providers has been less seen around the town you live in, you might face a disturbing result. Society is fearing intervention of everything they find alienated from their regular sight of what they perceive as order.
    But.
In order to preserve life on planet earth, motivation to perform in ways that has been proceeded un-orthodox up to known points has been proven ideal more than the known preserved order, society has proven itself to preserve with an everyday struggle.
In a predatory way, some might find renewability a method to decay a society better than make it perform better. A harmful plan for example would be to suggest worker in a factory to start use meat based products to feed cows in order to preserve resources. Leading later to a biological infection called C.J.D.
Ideas to over heat an engine or an oven may save processing time but on a longer run could make a factory malfunction. Also seen in media industry, a daring action such as planking, will be over covered just to cause more potential death, or serve a misconception about acts that otherwise could be taken in a more healthy method such as Miley Cyrus' provocative dance moves, which in cases can relax and free muscles, however, they are served and promoted as sexual.
Needing an air to breath and inhale quickly, some people might desire to moan but cannot because society decide it is provocative, Making unease to many people, sometimes to a point of risking health or sacrificing potential abilities. When done right, it can increase enthusiasm and productivity at work, when done wrong, a criminal might serve these manners to capture it's next victim into harmful action.
Dolphins are sea creatures, often perceived as friendly and easygoing. However, with more evidence we see that it can behave in a very aggressive way. There are more evidences of being attacked by dolphins than being attacked by sharks. As human beings are not dolphins they are more often capable to change their behaviors to sometime look frightening and fearful but later behave in a very different, sometime deceiving way, as criminal often tends to regret their crimes opening a new path of charitable actions or the mentally ill considered suddenly perform a straight of heroic actions. To some who observed them already, these would see as decisions that sought out of illness more than on sudden release and improvement of definitional mental state. One might ask in fear if the scoundrel suggest another manipulation on his victim, but since to an already shown records of action will consider unreliable, even if this quick sought was for a sudden break, which the artist felt he want to please his family other than hurt a neighbor he hates.
Things we solve trough conversations, expressing honest opinions, facts and dialogue, increases one to understand his own motives and the motives of these in his society. If peers he live with are honest enough to lead an ear and respond without alternating truths.
Avoiding actions such as unsafe sex, drugs and alcohol can defiantly increase society's condition, and it's influence will be streamed on into the surrounding environment, nature and biological form inhabiting it, increasing survival of a sentient being and it's group to prevent future crisis or an upcoming disaster, as well as preserving the will to live, thrive and prosper.

You probably remember the cartridge version of the game; that used FM chiptune music. This is the CD version of the same game, and it has CD digital audio.
      Each version had different composers

Still great vibes, any game I was timer-ed on for total gameplay would be in the hundreds because I’d leave games on for the music.
