So essentially that is what this train system is hoping to fix with cheap/free transportation out of the slums and into the city enabling people to access better work and resources.

With these outtakes, you've essentially proven that Huey Lewis was right about Christian Bale's performance in American Psycho influencing his performance in Batman Begins, just before he killed Weird Al Yankovic
The Batman Begins variant of Scarecrow will forever terrify me because of his hallucinations of bats coming out of his mouth, having a lawyer become terrified of him due to exposure to his fear toxins, and putting Batman on fire but more so of the bat hallucinations coming from the mouth
1:14 it’s because Thomas Wayne is *SO* rich , he went to purchase a tree and had Alfred set it there before he saved his son. That’s why in 1:28 here’s there.
You slipped a reference to Firefox in at 7:39, so I spent the rest of the video anticipating how Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Netscape Navigator would get worked into sins as well.
Something that annoyed me was how they could just pour the poison into the water main. Water mains are pressurized, you open one up and it's going to spray out at you with a lot of force and make it impossible to add something into the water
Missed a sin at 12:58 - Batman's face is exposed and it not only would have burned him, it would have killed him. Watch any behind-the-scenes in a film where a stunt person is engulfed in flames. They cannot inhale breath because the fire and heat would incinerate their mouth, trachea, and lungs. Also, at 17:36 - "Even the beam...doesn't have fire on it..." Yes, it clearly does. Look at Alfred's left leg as he runs to Bruce. The fire is in the foreground and appears to be emanating from the beam. One sin removed, although add a billion sins due to a single decent Batman film having yet to be made.
I've really been enjoying these second looks at the past movies. I'm 100% sure it's just because I started watching during this era of longer videos and is just a personal problem but a lot of the old stuff feels rushed because of that so it's nice to have them in this format
American Psycho was great because Christian Bale played the part. The only thing I have a problem with this film is how easily it relates psychosis to violence.
There's nothing to sin about this movie...like when Batman blows out the small window in front of train, before the back end, to create a draft...all real and logical.
17:23 I don't see why people don't understand here Ra's Al-Ghul's talking about Bruce leaving the fake Ra's Al Ghul for death who at the time he thought was the real Ra's Al Ghul. That's enough for Ra's Al Ghul to take that personally. He doesn't care Bruce saved "Ducard" as a friend thinking he's just a representative or something. In his perspective, Bruce burned his actual house and killed his double thinking that was actually him, not the physical him but the identity of him.
1:29 That actually isn't a sin, Thomas Wayne IS a doctor himself, a surgeon even, so the capability of analyzing the injury and fixing it isn't that far off the bat. Yeah, pun intended.
There's also the fact that it should vaporize the blood/sweat/other liquid in your body. Or the fact that it only seems to vaporize liquid in a way that's good for the plot/makes a good scene, as opposed to just vaporizing the shit all at once. There were _so_ many more sins here that Jeremy didn't catch. Just once I'd like to see a movie director/producer that's actually smart. There are ways to do this that don't involve these sins, like setting/attaching a timer on the microwave transmitter, then getting the hell outta Dodge before it goes off. The bad guys still get the effect they were going for, the audience still knows what happened, yet you avoid having the sin of all the liquid in their bodies not get vaporized. Or the fact that the bad guy _always_ waits until the hero is there before they go ahead with their evil plan, thus ensuring that they'll be stopped. According to Ras Al Ghul the League of Shadows literally had agents in every single seat of power, so why wait so long to destroy the city? Also, if they had so much power and influence, why didn't they do anything to make the city better? Also also, if they had infiltrated the city that deeply, and the city is this corrupt, wouldn't that mean they were the ones corrupting it?
You're actually not far off the truth with the guy in Wayne Tower, the 'won a contest' joke. His name is Shane Rimmer, who voiced Scott Tracy in the 1960's marionette show Thunderbirds. Christopher Nolan loved the show (it's why a lot of scenes including the monorail crash are practical effects instead of CGI) and recognised one of the film crew had the surname Rimmer. He jokingly asked if there was any relation, and funnily enough, there was. So while he didn't win a contest to be in the film, he did star in it as a cameo specifically at Christopher Nolan's request. The more you know!
If I was a waiter, and someone told me they were buying the hotel and gave me an inordinate sum of money, I'd just let him do what he wants and quietly quit to go to the bank
I’ve a request: 9. It’s a beautiful flick and I’d thoroughly enjoy a rip or commentary on how pretty awesome it is, it’s a journey similar to Frodo going to Gondor but is rife with flaws as well as exemplary cinematography despite being entirely cgi. I’d love your take on it
You know, for as much respect as I will give this film for giving a nice, fresh and confident start to this very much needed take after Batman and Robin set it back a few years, I'm always gonna be off on certain things like the lackluster editing (which Nolan and crew thankfully improved as the series went along. Say what you will about the Batman and Bane sewer fight, but saying it was incoherent was no one of them.), the dumb nature of Ra's plan and ultimately feeling remarkably unsatisfying as a conclusion, but that just may have been me.
20:13 I think the answer to that one is quite obvious, no offense. I understand that the movie itself doesn't point it out, but I'm pretty sure Batman went in the train as a distraction, since the task of the non-ninja-trained Gordon could easily be interrupted by just a single highly-trained ninja. He went in so Liam Neeson wouldn't have time to see it coming and react. And then Batman made sure the train couldn't be stopped once he realized he wasn't 100% sure if he really could win the fight. I'm sure they could have explained all that with an inner-monologue or something, but then you'd probably sin it for narration. :P Really enjoy your videos, by the way.
Is there a team Neither? I wish they'd cast Rooney Mara for the role and she'd appeared in both movies. I probably would've felt something when she died.
20:41 They never said Wayne tower was the epicenter of the city - just that the transit system was built around it. That’s like saying the the Loop is the epicenter of Chicago
The Nolan Batman movies have aged POORLY. There are only a few good things to praise but one that can’t be forgotten is the fact that Batman Begins saved Batman just as Batman ‘89 did. It brought Batman back into the spotlight and is the reason why he has been so prominent in the 2000’s.

4:47 He warned the homeless man because if someone saw him with that jacket, they could possibly assume he killed/hurt Bruce to get it.
Sure doomy, Now keep Following that flimsy narrative as it leads to absolutely nowhere🚮
Yes! He doesn't mean Falcone's men, but the cops.
15:22 I lost it at “Martha”
Holy crap I am so excited for you to re-review some of your older review videos. You have no idea.

18:12 JOFFREY!
Yup ;)
I love how Chris Nolan watched American Psycho and thought to himself, "That Christian Bale would make a great Batman"
American Psycho was great because Christian Bale played the part. The only thing I have a problem with this film is how easily it relates psychosis to violence.
"it takes over an hour to batman to begin" jesus i died laughing
Hell yeah, definitely here for the Re-Sins. Please do more, much more. Re-Sin “The Room”! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

"well u're real face after this movie is Maggie Gyllenhaal so eat shit" lollzz it cracked me up
At 4:46, I'm pretty sure he says that so people and authorities don't think he had anything to do with Bruce's sudden disappearance/presumed death.
dumbest sin ever tbh, waiting for the birdman video on this one
Thanks for the re-do on this. Great job! Also: extra thanks for the Remo Williams line - one of my Favorite Movies!

Batman begins was awesome. Nothing anyone can say or do will take this movie off its top platform. Best super hero film ever!
A man of culture, I see!
Begins is my favorite live-action Batman film and I’ll die on that hill!
Close to '' The Dark Knight ''.
9:50. He's not standing, he's crouching on the sphere on top of the spire, you can see it beneath his torso. Come on Cinema Sins, COME ON! *ding*

Just watched this movie and your old sin video today. Hoping to see more re-sins on superhero movies

1:29 That actually isn't a sin, Thomas Wayne IS a doctor himself, a surgeon even, so the capability of analyzing the injury and fixing it isn't that far off the bat. Yeah, pun intended.
This video just reminded me of how Awesome this movie is! Im gonna have to rewatch it again.

YES finally an updated video on the movies that seemed too short to sin! Looking forward to Dark Knight and Avengers.
9:50 if you look closely both pillars are the same, so not a sin there.
at 9:49 batman isnt standing. he is in a crouched position above the spherical thing. sin removed
@11:15 - also, if your weapon vaporizes water, what about the sea the ship is actually in? Does it sink to the bottom, does the weapon act like Moses?

I saw a child playing with a rubee, The soize ova tangareeene
The "trash your lights" audio at the end is fucking brilliant.
I’d love your take on it
Frodo going to Mordor.
These re-sins are great. Thank you guys so much for being a constant in my week

I think the answer to that one is quite obvious, no offense. :P
Really enjoy your videos, by the way.

PRACTICAL EFFECTS BEFORE CGI!
21:45 Team Katie Holmes though. I don't even think I'm alone on this.
Is there a team Neither? I wish they'd cast Rooney Mara for the role and she'd appeared in both movies.
I probably would've felt something when she died.
Sooooo glad you guys are going back and giving these the modern Sins treatment!
They'll probably redo Avatar since the new Avatar movie is coming out soon

You should have sinned the movie when Falcone was chained to the spot light. He would have had 3rd degree burns.
20:41 They never said Wayne tower was the epicenter of the city - just that the transit system was built around it. That’s like saying the the Loop is the epicenter of Chicago
Hell yes. A re-sin! Wish you guys would do this with all other movies as well.

Well, Heath Ledger showed us, didn't he?
