It's a matter of Ngannou surpassing expectations and Fury falling short of them. The latter still edged it out, though.

Ngannou won that for sure but he was never getting a decision from boxing judges.... What shocked me was that Fury was the one who got tired, Francis did some decent work to the body and he bullied Fury in those clinches instead of the other way around.

The craziest thing is how calm and in control ngannou was, never even got in trouble besides the illegal elbow. Not gonna lie didnt think it goes down like that. But the robbery doesnt hurt him, its just a bad look for fury.

after nganou landed the hook, he kinda became a little more predictable for the next 3 rounds. just kept trying to time it instead of setting it up off his jab, i believe that let fury get back in the fight or this could have been a domination. still think he won though.

The nicest elbow thrown in this fight was from Fury. N'gannou stayed patient, did not gas out and won the clinching game which Fury usually uses to His advantage. Dana is eating his underwear. P.F.L won big tonight. Francis fought the perfect fight, did not lunge for a knock out... The Judge with 96/93 should be shot...I feel bad for Uzyk, cause Fury ain't fighting in December, and the fight everyone wants to see is Francis/Tyson.....On a lot of threads I said N'gannou is one smart dude and adjusted accordingly...I knew He was being underestimated. Super proud of Francis. He proved a lot of haters wrong in there. It just sucks he was never gonna win a decision. Boxing judges weren't gonna let an MMA fighter waltz into their sport and beat their poster boy on a decision. To be fair though, I feel like Tyson "won" more rounds, but similar to Volk vs Islam 1, I feel like Ngannou WON the fight. Furys rounds were technical and just peppering Ngannou, while Ngannou made his presence felt in there and had Fury backing up a lot
Ultimately though, it was a great fight
Max. I honestly think Volk last fight and the way that ended tipped him over that hill. Touporia can get that belt and there’s your inn man. Get that belt back. Back to it’s proper owner! It’s gonna be a big 2024. Let’s speak it to existence!! Can’t wait till your next fight💯
