Hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, etc have to pay the insurance companies just so they can be reimbursed for work. On top of this, your company pays a hefty premium to provide their workers healthcare, government pays a hefty premium, and almost all of us pay a hefty premium not including our deductibles/copays.
