I grew up going to Sunday School, then the morning service, choir practice at 5:00 and then the evening service, Tuesday night Youth group, Wednesday Bible study and Friday nights I'd help out with Children's Church! I had an amazing childhood and Teenage years, no time to get into any trouble! LOL!!! I know that where I live there isn't Sunday School anymore and I think that is really such a shame because for me that is where I became grounded in my faith! I am thankful that my kids all went to Sunday School before they stopped having it. You are right about hymns to, can't remember the last time I saw a hymn book or even sang a hymn! At least we have those precious memories right! BTW, I did already comment to you about your huge bee skep and I still say it is the most GORGEOUS thing EVER! A wonderful haul with some mighty adorable finds. The botanical art piece with August on it was so popular in the late 80-90s. They were given as a couple gift for wedding presents, with the bride and groom birthday month.

I love seeing thrift hauls, thank you. I have the June print like your August one. My mother bought it probably 25 years ago. I know it's a set of 12, but she only bought hers and my dad's birthday months. I feel exactly the same about old hymns being lost. I think it's wonderful that you want to share them with your children.
I so wish I had all your thrift stores! What you said about hymns really touched me. My kids are 28 & 30 (are they really?!!) and when they started talking I taught them the old hymns. Hymns are beautiful and I love everything about them and last summer a church was throwing a hymn worship night outdoors where we all sang hymns from hymnal books and I loved it, it was so much fun. I think its sad how some hymns are already a lost art... but I hope they will be around for a long long time.
The teacups and saucers are beautiful. I think the first one is my favorite. I collect vintage and antique plates of all sizes. Some in the China cabinet and some on the walls :) I love everything vintage. Great haul.
Hold on to your dream of a little tea shoppe. Through the years my friend collected tea pots and tea cups. When she retired from the Armed Forces she opened her tea shop here in Murrells Inlet. Love all the treasures you found. Love your enthusiasm and your cute personality.

The print you bought with the month are birthday prints, they have them for all 12 months with different flowers that bloom in that particular month. They are really popular in Virginia because shops in Colonial Williamsburg sell them. Is am sure they have a name but I do not know off hand what it is.
Hi Kim, I love the botanical print the most. Just a tip, I have painted picture matting in the past, with success. Use flat or matt spray paint, very light coat 1st, then a second coat. You just don't want them to warp by getting them to wet, you can't tell they are painted as long as there is no shine.

I use different vintage small oval platters, & rectangle shaped platters by my stove as spoon rests. I put a different one out every day. Enjoyed the haul. I love the little tea cups, thrifting is so much fun! We have something here in Nebraska called Junkstock. You would love it. Also, my daughter homeschools and she does a lot of hands on, visiting museums, etc to learn about our country’s history. Best of luck wit that. Be careful on anything cloth from thrift stores. Make sure you wash your pillows in hot hot water due to bed bugs. Love your channel.
Great finds! You need to check out the really cute bee socks they have at Target! I got a pair and I think the are only $1.50. Light blue background with cute bees all over them, they are the slow, no show socks.
I love all things botanical too! I finally "downsized" dishes to only white plates with salad plates of all shapes, sizes and themes. This let's me get the look without storing millions of things. I also love art and can't resist, have way to much for my space! You are so adorable and enthusiastic, love your style and hauls! Bees are me!!
Look for heirloom seeds in it you could save a seed. Mi gardener found a shadowbox with 87 year old Tomato seed. He grew them and it is back but not lost forever.

I’ve found great pillow covers at Hobby Lobby, and the prices are decent when they’re on sale. I love the lumbar pillow you found. The floral print with the numbers is one of a series of 12 - one for each month. I have the prints for each of our birthday months. The tall Asian prints would look great in a powder room. They’re gorgeous. If you do garden flags, check Discount decorative Flags online - they have a super cute bee skep flag - both sizes - the smaller garden flag as well as the bigger flag.

I’ve been there a few years ago and it’s a beautiful Italianate village on the North west coast of Wales, designed by Sir Clough Williams Ellis. The Prisoner was filmed there years ago, but you are probably too young to remember! His daughter , who was selling her pottery in the village then opened a business in Stoke on Trent where she created the Portmeirion pottery, named after the village and where it is sold today. Living in Williamsburg, I've had many editions of this print. Currently I have a beautiful blue matted version of May and June, which I found at a local thrift store.
Weren't they called Williamsburg prints? As in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. My great aunt gifted me one as a wedding present in 1977. It was nicely framed and matted. I still like it to this day. I also have two that are fruit prints. They are very nice too. Just like the botanicals, but in fruit instead. Very classy and traditional if framed right. If you know what I mean. Omg!! I have a major dish obsession to!! I can’t stop myself from buying gorgeous pieces! It’s so awesome to find someone with the same interest in them. My problem is that we just downsized from a 3 story house to a 918 square foot house so I need to get creative with my storage. I have 4 sets of China in my big house that I have to move here. Guess it’s purging time? I’m not in love with one set but the others... I need them in my life lol!
We still sing out of hymnals in our country church! My Dad was a minister also and so is my husband and Boys! We have a praise team slso, but we always open by singing from the hymnals. Great haul! Love watching your videos! Your hair looks beautiful!

Do your boys like history documentaries? That is one way to change things up a bit. It’s like it brings the history books to life. I know what you mean though. I homeschool my kiddos also and history is usually our least favorite subject. We do like documentaries though! 👍🏼

The bee crock would be great to use for cuttings in wster. I use cuttings from my shrubs. Camellia and box are long lasting. Since they are free, you can refresh them when needed.

Do your boys like history documentaries? That is one way to change things up a bit. It’s like it brings the history books to life. I know what you mean though. I homeschool my kiddos also and history is usually our least favorite subject. We do like documentaries though! 👍🏼

You got some cool stuff! I have a whole set of the blue and white dishes like the one you had in your right hand when you held up the two different ones. I just don’t know where I put them!🤣I think they are in my attic. I received them as a wedding present. I love the old books too. While watching this I started laughing because I was thinking about why we have hit it off so well... I have my thrifted items setting aside to do a video tomorrow and I have several tea cups and saucers, several old books, a few pictures, and old vintage linen and pillows!! Girl I guess great minds think alike! The bee crock would be great to use for cuttings in wster. I use cuttings from my shrubs. Camellia and box are long lasting. Since they are free, you can refresh them when needed.
