Thanks you for an other helpful video Peter, and please keep making them. I too think you missed the opportunity to do a little maintenance, even though I do understand that the whole point of your video was to show us how to remove and replace the cowling. Putting the bonnet into the service position may give you better access for future projects. Sending you and all your family my best wish's for a wonderful Christmas time.
Hey, thanks for your input. Yes, my first concern was to get it tight, as the seal was 3-4mm off in the centre. Thank you, I wish you a relaxing holiday and a good start to the new year, Peter
Excellent vid. I always wanted to do this to my LR4 and now I believe I can because of your vid and all the helpful comments from the fine folks here on your channel. Thank you.
Thank you for your very useful videos. I bought my late 2016 D4 Landmark last August and love it. If you see a UK 66 reg. silver Landmark driving through Austria it couls be me. 😉 I drive through Austria a couple of times a year as I drive from England to Slovakia (where my wife is from) and - I must say - the Landzeit motorways stops you have in Austria are the best I have seen in Europe - Excellent. 👍
Another good video Peter. I also made a lip with duck tape where if the new cowl leaks, still up water will make it into the cabin. In Uk case this is on passenger side
The mechanical parts were still so full of all-purpose grease that I only had to wipe off the excess. But yes, otherwise this is of course recommended as you won't be replacing this part very often.
Great video as always Peter Thanks. could you send a link from where you purchased the panel? I think i need to replace my panel as it has faded from the sun over the years.
Frohe Weihnachten 🎄😊 sehr gutes Video.
What was the issue that was causing the leaking? is it the cowl seal to the windscreen? Couldn't that be repaired with a new strip of rubber seal? Why the whole new part?
Hey! Yes it was leaking on two different sides. No this part cannot be replaced because the rubber seal which lays on the windscreen is attached to plastic part and cannot be removed or replaced. Greetings, Peter

I think you had an opportunity to oil the windscreen drive arms and mechanical parts, nice show I like it a lot 👍
