Could you PLEASE share the marker color you use for the glass? the one I used to use has dried and I can't find same one anywhere. Yours looks very close and absolutely perfect :)
Hi, really love your work!! you have inspired me to begin sketching!:) Would you be so kind to list the tools you have used in this sketch? markers, pens, paper etc. Would be greatly appreciated! Much love! Paul (Ireland)
+Paul McElroy I used: marker paper from canson A3, cool greys 1 to 10 from kurecolor markers, blue grays 1,3,5,7,9 from touch markers, greens and yellows from old Pantone tria markers (unfortunately these are no longer in the market) and for line drawing felt tip pen from graphik
The fact that pros make what they do look so easy... oh yeah I can sketch those lines and paint for sure! :,D Looks amazing!! Istanbul has a lot of beautiful old architecture getting replaced by new and uglier apartments, malls, mosques... I hope architects like you can change that :D
Love your architectural style! I used to have the most perfect TRIA marker for glass, I can't seem to find it anywhere again and yours looks very similar, could you share the shade color?? Thank you! love your videos :)
This is awesome! I've just ordered some markers online after being inspired by your video. Do you have any tips or techniques that could help me with them? :))
Absolutely, there is not right or wrong way to do it as long as the end result is satisfactory, in my case, I like to add white highlights for contrast at the end.
Great job. Do you do this professionally for Architects? If so, what are the qualifications needed for doing this as a job? I am interested in it but don't have an Architect or Art degree, but, I do paintings in Watercolor, Acrylics and other media. Thank you, appreciate your video.
Xiao Hei hello, I do this professionally. I studied industrial design and then later a master in architecture. However I think you can do it without being an architect but you need a very good understanding on architectural projects and architectural layouts, facades, and sections since you are going to be reading from an architect project. With experience you might get the knowledge. Now, I do make projects as well, that is different.
Thank you Ariel. I appreciate your reply and the information you have shared. Recently came across your videos and I love watching them. Keep them coming!
+Comedy Zone I found this looking for inspiration, it is from a picture but sometimes pictures are just inspirations and I end up with something different.
it looks fresh and vivid, eventhough sometimes a ruler is needed, depending on what is the final look you want to achieve. also it is faster for me with out a ruler.
fritz walter well, of course this kind of sketching can be learned in design and architecture schools. I will be offering a course in the second semester of the year, it will be an online course. Keep watching!
Oh ok good to know. Immediately subscribed after i saw these amazing sketches so I don´t miss anything :) I will most likely study architecture soon thats why I´m looking around for courses to improve my drawing skills. But I will follow your channel in any case !Thank you for your quick answer !
It looks amazing! I don't think this is considered a pavilion though considering it isn't really a temporary structure used for shelter. This thing looks like a full blown futuristic stadium or office building.
+Jhonny Ambrose I use different brands, in this case kurecolor, touch and Pantone tría, all of them are alcohol based markers and for line work I use pilot G TEC C4 point .4
Paper: canson marker pad A3, markers: warm grey shade 1 to 10 kurecolormarkers, blue grey shades from Pantone tria (these markers are unfortunately out of the market now) however you can use blue grey shades from touch, black liners 0.3 and 0.5 unipin
I use rotring felt tip marker 0.5 or graphik felt tip liner from derwent or papermate flair, for markers in this video I use cool grey shades from kurecolor and old Pantone tria for blues and touch for greens
As an architecture student, i hope i can be as confident as you
