Such a great record! I remember being pleasantly stoked at the great production. I love the early grindy stuff too. My copy didn't have the weird laughing at the beginning, weird!
That said, both of the LP’s are awesome for their own reasons. Same with SSD, GIA is as good as Kids Will Have Their Say, in my own opinion mind you. But hell this isn’t much different from Violent Arrest or any of the members later works either.
now thats a crazy flex, trying to dismiss the punk template through a euro fastcore route instead of a jock breakdown route, nice try, but as always this point makes no sense historically unless you are dumb townie from the east coast of america.
@@johncasarino5627 I'm NOT dismissing the punk template. I'm just pointing out that the extreme brand of hardcore that Ripcord played is far removed from the classic punk sound and this album is faster, more extreme, more "hardcore" than their previous stuff. On their earlier records they sometimes slow down and there are traces of older punk rock styles. Poetic Justice is just total speed and extremism and you won't hear anything here that sounds like Subhumans, The Exploited or Chaos UK. I'm from Poland and all we listened here in 1990-91 was Heresy, Ripcord, Extreme Noise Terror, Negazione, Raw Power, Larm, D.R.I., M.D.C., Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Corrosion Of Conformity, Patareni, Napalm Death. "Townie". 😆 😂 🤣
One of the best Lp's ever
100 % UKHC ....the best and HERESY
The sound of the bass is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fucking intensity of this record ! so much sweet memories ...too bad I never saw them live ....

100% Punk Hardcore!!!!
love the Punk style Guitar ! very aggressive and fast! love it! that was the way I played in my band in "1988".
got any records on youtube by any chance ? xd
No the band I was in recorded only one 3 song demo. The singer of my band screwed over me and the drummer and stole my copies of the demo.
You should get into grindcore lol.
buff i start in the punk with them, heresy, lärm, negazione, BGK, all the best shit!!!!, but for me Ripcord are the best
These bands are hardcore, not "punk". Punk is Sex Pistols and The Clash.
Piotr B hardcore punk...
@@piotrb8434 well, you definitely dont know much about music.
@@joelpocalips LOL, I probably listen to punk and hardcore for longer than you live.
@@piotrb8434 sex pistols are fucking tools, you were duped
Way to go Ripcord another brilliant lp. Solid fucking record
The title track kicks so much ass. the whole lp does.
Amazing album !!
Great band, awesome hardcore album, right up there with BGK's Nothing can go wrogn ;-)

Pure hardcore 80s style to many good bands I love it give me a merrydown

Great lp!
I played between The Exploited and Here in the U.S. old Ramones!
Totally brilliant
They were obviously heavily influenced by SSD at this point. Great band!
I mean it’s technically a double speed ‘Get It Away’ with some Siege flourishes

they also made a Cover of SSDs "Boiling Point"
grind melodic hc.....nice to learn fast guitar playing to.....101 points....
Poetic Justice is so much better than Defiance Of Power. Less punk and more hardcore. Much faster, more extreme. Classic Euro HC.
