I’m a little confused. Is this a European version of the car? We just bought a 2024 atlas but looked and test drove a 2024 Tiguan premium r line and it looked completely different.
This is really nice. I love the back of the car, however I rather the front end of either the 2 previous generations. This newer model looks nice and futuristic, but it has lost its aggresive touch. The interior is dope though. I also dont like that this is not offered with a 3rd row. Vw what are yall doing?
Time for a new key fob. I'm picturing a raised VW logo, and one not covered in piano black. VW needs to design some more sporty wheels. A new steering wheel wouldn't hurt either. It fit the previous angular car, but not this more rounded design. This one is getting long in the tooth. But the real buttons are greatly appreciated.
Beautiful car… If I’d one criticism it be the racer driver seats… Appealing to kids but c’mon, totally takes from the car.. A mature man or woman I can’t see purchasing this! In regards to the dash / screen integration… I’ve yet to see as good and sleek as the Tucson 2023 model… Sadly they changed this look in 2024.. HUGE MISTAKE!!!
34 female here - can confirm the bucket seats are not like your “recaro bucket seats” we used to have in our golfs or skylines years ago. They are comfy, r line standard comes with massage settings etc. I would recommend. I had the 2018 R Line Tiguan which was much more fun to drive as the new one has all safety elements. Taken some time to get used to but as a family of 4 I’m a big fan. The front grill on the new one is probably the only thing I’d change in comparison.
@@gobrad and get the 2.0TSI or eHybrid TSI for better BHP. The petrol eTSI is actually heart breaking when you are used to a bit of power. No worries! Take it for a test drive. Trim down on a few features like the head up display (distracting)

looks very slick, round, and plastic-like, bubble style with a huge TV that doesn't fit into the design. The way to the successful design is simple, Volkswagen, takes the Touareg and makes a smaller copy of it. Why these round ID's shapes are present where strict forms gone?!
The older one is a great looking car , actually came across new one other day as brother was looking at a new car and when he mentioned there’s a new Tiguan I was a bit jealous as they where a nice looking car this one isn’t though car is not driver focused as in not fun to drive the front looks like a higher suspension golf 8 and the overall car just looks like a more pricey trcoc, The Tiguan was a nice car that’s now been ruined now unfortunately, seems vag group is ruining lots off cars look at the new Leon if you are into medium hatches like me , the previous Leon came in a two door looked sporty was ruined by the new one looks like an old persons car , not to mention the golf 8 the 7 was much better looking I like gadgets in my car but don’t want to ride on my sofa 🛋️ which seems to be the way once good cars like this are headed 🙄 Only modern suv i personally can say is fun is the ford puma and I’m a bmw Audi person but if had to get a small suv the ford puma is a driver’s car , this is a mini living room, if I want info tainment well I’ve my phone iPad smart tv and Xbox and can sit on the sofa 😂 If I want to drive I like to feel engaged with the road I have a new BMW but miss the e46 and e90 as more fun to drive i am mid 30z so when started driving 14 years ago here in the uk it was hot hatches as first cars as easy insured etc then in mid 20z was bmw and Mercedes choosing a next car for me in two or three years personally I feel used would be better as well I don’t want a expensive sofa on wheels 🤷♂️
Oh, oh, the giant's designers can't shake off the role of creating a polished SUV for retirees with a boring design, which they try to hide with led light strips front and rear and some kitschy ambient lighting on the cabin. I own the second version of the MK2 model and it is unjustified that I have spent about 8 thousand euros on repairs for a factory-bought new car. That says it all. It is better to avoid this product unless you want to have terrible headaches after the warranty, because after this period it is designed to self-destruct!
Our Tiguan R line, model 2018, is a beautiful car. This model ain’t. Mostly because of the black plastic strip at the front. It’s to big. In this video you barely see it because this car is black. The new Skoda Kodiaq on the other hand is beautiful. VW don’t build nice cars anymore.
the most beautiful Tiguan R Line is the 2021 one. And in any case the only beautiful colors are oryx white pearl in the "black pack" setup or total black. The Skoda is really ugly.

Think this is bad take a look at BMW! Butt ugly and obscene pricing. The MK2 is a much better looking car and a better spec. And I’m certainly not prepared to pay £500 car tax.
The old Tiguan and this one are just ugly. Filled with cheap plastics and shortcuts. You really have to ask what goes through the mind of anyone buying this car with the alternatives on offer.
