The wind sound is a natural part of the environment and should be left in the video just as the sound of the stream and waterfall are left in. Great video.
I really enjoy your content in the PNW and I'm a subscriber. If you would please improve on the wind noise your videos would be much more awesome. Thanks!
Thank you! Absolutely will do for this years batch. I've actually been looking at youtube tutorials on how to cut out wind noise better for my editing software.
@@NorthwestWanderer I think there're special microphones you can use to eliminate the wind noise. Maybe ask Joey of MyOwnFrontier (who referred me to your channel) what he uses. Whatever you decide, your videos are much appreciated!
@@robertwagner7867 THank you! On my trip with Joey he used his hands on most shots to cover the audio holes from the wind and uses the editing software he recommended to me that I'm going to use to edit the wind out. It takes awhile to edit the wind out which is why it takes joey awhile to upload a video as it can take almost 1-2 minutes per clip of editing. But the end product is amazing! I saw some of those mics and wind mufflers but after watching some videos of before/afters on youtube I'd probably still have to use the editor.
@@NorthwestWanderer It's all very complicated and time consuming I'm sure which most people probably don't realize. But I do and appreciate the videos that you, Joey and Mountain Wanderer all put out! So, thanks again!
