I played fiddle in that band and wrote the tune. What a great memory. If you look closely at the scene on the beach, Karen is walking by the camera when the music is still playing. Thanks a bunch for uploading this!
@@philharding3404 I did make a recording of the Howling music and some of our other stuff. Not good recordings though. Let me know if you want a recording. I'll find it and make the best copy I can for you.
Chris Carney I loved this song since I saw the howling and have been looking for it ever since! This is the only place I've seen it! Just a beautiful song, thank you! I grew up in central Illinois and whole family went to G'ma & G'pas on Sunday for dinner. My Uncles would bring their guitars, my grandparents played piano and banjo and guitar and my dad would sing and dance with all the women folk for fun! Such happy memories and this song reminds me of those times! Thanks again!
What a superb piece of music from a really memorable movie. I first heard this in the Howling and couldnt get it out of my head. It fitted into the BBQ scene perfectly, and i was so happy to find it. Many thanks for posting.
I've loved this song ever since I saw The Howling. I never found out what it was called until I remembered Google. I may be (very) slow but I get there in the end. This such a beautiful tune and played beautifully. I am so happy to find it at last.

+Chris Carney Thank you Chris, for that song. Always loved it.
+STEVE BRUNO My pleasure. It was a lot of fun doing the movie too.
Hi Chris, recently found this song and love it. Do you know where I could purchase a copy of any recordings the band made?
