Stockbridge 90/or 91, jumped in the back of a mates van in London with a quarter and a chillum, picked up 2 hitchhikers Kate and Rowan somwhere enroute, tumbled out the back doors at stockbridge with a teenth left, I'll never forget coming over the hills seeing the flags and tents the cammo nets and statues, hearing the music and my first free festie,!
Chuffed to hear Jamie's voice..the last barrel top arriving..he passed in 2007.....I charged spirals brick rave phone....met Debbie and Simone....yes two pyramid s.....I'd arrived solo from Nik Turners with the stonehenge pyramid Top....great to see Tash doing his thing!!.....quite a solstice....we were free xxxx
I was at this it ended up being a whopper of a festival, I can remember the ravers coming down from London to see Spiral Tribe and the interaction between them and the travelling crew was quite funny! I travelled down with a mate and we picked up an aluminium pyramid on the way. If I’m not mistaken then possibly Hawkwind lent their PA. One of the funniest people I encountered there was a mad hippie who was going around with a cask of liquid lsd….we left after about 2 days the nonstop techno became quite grating after a while, I went to Berlin shortly afterwards.
Middle classes with motor homes probably stay at location where they have paid and are allowed to be there. Stealth campers, camp stealthily, tucked out the way. That might be why?
this was a tense edgy one from memory , saw some violence from the agent provocateur brew crew and i hated techno , i changed my mind at lechlade and casltlemorton the next summer can't remember why must have been the rhubarb and custard pills lol

Power, “democracy” , land “ownership” , access to resources, freedom of movement, self-determination…the same authoritarian system later decreed a “lockdown” on prison island because of a fake pandemic.
