For you young trumpet players, or anyone else that's interested: 0:21 F above the staff to high F (F over high C) octave jump. 0:24 F the next octave up (F over double C - what he calls triple F) 7 of them. 0:42 F over double C, A over double C, B over double C (2nd valve), then triple C So his highest note is a triple C. It sure seemed like he could go higher, too. Now if you have perfect pitch, or a tuner, or you play the dog whistle, and you think that B or triple C is a different note, that's irrelevant to trumpet players. He's playing F arpeggios (Eb concert, 1st valve), and ends on the open (no valves) triple C. If you don't like it, I challenge you to play a triple C more in tune. lol Edit: corroborating video ruclips.net/video/yjDz2SvBfZo/видео.html
Hi Rashawn, you are such a good player and I need your help about picking very beautiful and good mouthpieces from the Monette collections,as a matter of fact I just can't explain why but I have never liked all these common old type silver mouthpieces that people have always used to play.I saw some nice Monette that you used to play which I could have made references to but unfortunately comments have been disabled on those videos on RUclips.Truth is you are the professional and also a very good player and I believe that you will be able to assist me in getting these mouthpieces. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you and I also want to wish you the very best in doing your thing. Monette mouthpieces are so beautiful and I must say that I like them, I don't mind buying more than just one, the favour that I want from you is just let me have your best recommendations and the rest is for me to go get them. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.
Jordan Shaw no the squeak he did, because when he was doing the regular squeaks he's said they were triple f, and he went higher, so it was some insane quadruple thing
Actually, that F above double c is a double F. The triple register doesn't start until F#. Low F is the 1st space on the staff. Middle F is the top line of the staff. High F is the one above high C. Double F is the one that Rashawn played on this video. Triple F would be an octave above that. A lot of people assume that the triple register starts above double C, but it doesn't. It starts at the F# above double C.
No he can’t. He might have recorded an approximation but he doesn’t “own” the note. It’s a sound he recorded for about a second. This guy, along with Jim Manley and John Madrid boss the extreme register.
His hat bouncing up on the triple C is hilarious
Matthew Rodriguez Haha it does!
I see your comments on like every trumpet video ever

Lindo trompete uma excelente marca e um grande músico
what mouth piece is that?
is that a quadruple A?!?!
Nope, that was a quadruple c💀
Miyamotospoop13 No, that is a triple high C. An octave above double C.
Jordan Shaw no the squeak he did, because when he was doing the regular squeaks he's said they were triple f, and he went higher, so it was some insane quadruple thing
Jordan Shaw definitely two octaves
The highest he played was Db over triple c
Wow ! Can you indicate wich kind of mouthpiece it is please? Thanks! :)

Triple F not bad! But remember: Marc van Cleave can do QUAD C !!!! That s about 7.5kHz, over half an octave above even triple F!!!!

How?

Tmnc que trompete foda mi patron
モネットのいい所はなにより、音がいいんだよね。
ロータスやテイラーやら対抗したタイプは数出てるけど、音の良さで適わない。
I tried to get myself a Monette trumpet but Monette never replied to me 😭 They don’t want me playing quadruple c’s on their horns I guess 🤷🏽♂️
