As a huge Jim Henson fan, how am I only discovering this show now? Jim's 80's dark fantasy creatures are easily my favorite work of his. Love seeing all the creatures from The Storyteller (which is a really underrated series), the only thing that would make this show even better is if they had characters from The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth made an appearance!
23:56 Jim created The Storyteller so he can mashup Labrynth and The Dark Crystal with that era's music videos on MTV and VH1.
It’s almost like Jack and the Beanstalk:The Real Story. Also it’s nice to hear The Horned King being a storyteller.

Personally, I love it. Mixing his "cute" puppets with his more realistic, fantastical animatronics is really interesting!

(started singing) everybody's doing a brand new dance now come on baby do the locomotion ( they started to shake ) lindbergh. whoa shaking kermit. lindbergh turn it off! ( he turned it off ) waldo c graphic. hey i found the hand control digit . ( slapping himself and they fell down) kermit . the feet quick find the control for the feet lindbergh. let me push these one here ( he push the button) kermit. uh no no push it the other way lindbergh . i'll try jack. uh find the finger lindbergh. finger here kermit . okay now the yellow button quick lindbergh. turn kermit. towards the yellow button lindbergh. here we go getting closer here it goes ( they got out of digit 's brain) lindbergh. hooray waldo c graphic. we're free kermit. is everyone okay lindbergh. yes waldo c graphic. (notice digit and gasped) but he's not! lindbergh. what! kermit. noooooo! ( few minutes later) lindbergh . oh man we've tried everything waldo c graphic yeah let's give up (lindbergh amd waldo c graphic left in disappointment ) kermit. poor digit he must be in bad shape ( he notice that there's a switch ) kermit. i wonder what this switch does ( he turns digit on ) kermit
hooray! digit 's cure digit . (feeling groggy) what happened kermit. you were in bad shape there's a switch to turn you on digit . man i was asleep
