Garage chopper guy without a lathe...Mark aluminum spacer a tad proud then bring it down with a belt sander. Hold spacer as flat as possible by using a stepped socket that slips inside but stops on the step. Bring it to spec slowly and measure a lot. Steel spacers, head to someone that has a lathe haha.
Reworking the caliper mount would be easier than redishing the wheel. Im no math wizz either, but can do shop math like that in my head. Want me to come and help? Retired Kat,,movin on,,,,Love,,,DUBS,,,,,
I appreciate the nerdy math stuff. Thanks dude
I like your footage..... I'm planning to stay here for a while.
Imperial system hurts my brain 😂 It makes easy measurements into a Da Vinci Code.
Wondering where your set-up, Canada?
Great video, thanks :)
I’m in Northern California
Could have put .066 spacer in-between caliper and rotor, then clamped. Then your spacer measurement would be exact
thats what i thought he was gonna do but whatever works
