Big fan of this. It's really clean and nicely carbonated. So skunky or strong alcohol taste. I see this more as a beer to savor than downing.

for me personally its pretty weak flavored beer. it was one of more bad one .i love more bitter beer and this was pretty dissapointing . well when i tryed 4-4,5% alcohol beer same it taste just like water :D but many love it .

They're €3.10 per 620ml bottle where I live. And I agree, it's a nice beer quite refreshing. Must try it with a curry next time.

I would always compare Asahi and Sapporo. I started out liking Sapporo more, but these days I prefer Asahi. Really clean and smooth.

The first time I tried, it is the smoothest beer that I’ve ever tasted. Taking slow sips makes you enjoy it more.

This is the only beer I like. Pairs really well with Japanese food like sushi, katsu chicken & rice, teriyaki, pork and pretty much anything else.

I live in a small town and asahi is my go to. 2x 660ml bottles for a fiver or a 4x pack of 330ml cans for £5.70 at the coop.
Just a very nice strong lager.
Doesn't bloat ya.

Yeah i agree with you, good taste but goes! Review was a year ago you said its 5.2% now it's 5%, can't comment what it was like then! Spose probably much different in taste.. Tbf I quite like it as not too sweet taste or a weird hoppy one... It's winter now, I reckon this be a fab beer ice cold in summer... You know the one you neck down after work before dinner! 👍

OK, I guess, and "YES" I know what it is and how it is meant to taste, but still, it's a little too flat for my liking.
When I first tried it I thought I had purchased a bad batch, but as it turned out my taste was not worldly enough to enjoy this beer.
Also, it makes me feel like I want to burp, but the burps do not happen and that makes me feel uncomfortable.
