well if the screen is of 60hz it doesnt mean that the system cannot provide 90fps it just can , but you wont feel a difference but still having 90 fps guarrentees your 60 fps as on 60 fps u can have drops to 57-59 but on 90 its mostly above 80 so you will not lose fps while having a 60hz and game on 90fps, you still feel a bit smoother when you have around 90 fps than on 60
What do you mean? Which one is better? Like ipad air 6 and mini 6 both have 60 hz refresh rate on the screen so they do not support 90 fps.

@@truegamerxd4336 well, not ipad 9 and 10 actually but the air 6 is quite strong. It's chip is M2 but once the refresh rate is low you can't have 90 or 120 fps. It's like having a Ferrari on your garage but you can't drive it.

for the people who r saying 90hz is not possible. it IS possible. just the screen is limited to 60 fps, so it wont look like 90 fps. so the ipad can go to 90 just not the screen. use your common sense yall

90 fps is frame rate, how smooth the screen is basically. If you have a 60 fps monitor, it can run more fps, it’s just that you will see it as 60 fps.

I have both ipad 9th gen and iphone 11
Long gaming session: iPad 9th gen(lags a bit when too hot and heavy to play with. Easy to spot enemies)
Smooth gaming: iPhone 11(battery drops quickly, very rare lag)
Note: In iPad 9th gen when using wired headphones plugged in 3.5mm jack and when you turn on mic game sound reduces, can’t hear footsteps clearly
