Happy New Year. I cannot live through another 2024. I opened the door of my house to let out 2024. I am retired and have to do a lot of cleaning and donations from my house. I really connected with this video. I can and have shared my journey as a transgender woman with students, a police academy, yes!, my congregation at church, but small talk, one on one I feel very awkward and like I am broken when it comes to relationships (of all sorts) and I find great comfort in my cat and animals in general. My brain defaults to "You're too weird to be a people person" so it's comforting in a way that you have to same struggle despite that you work with people, and share your free time on camera with us. I can tell my brain "No!, I am not weird, this is a struggle all people have". Glad you brought it up and happy New Year!

What a beautiful view you had down by the waterfront. I think everyone is always working on relationship. I in my mid 60’s have doubts about how people feel about me but I know it’s just a old self conscious way I had from my younger self & just need to let it go. I glad you shared what you might want to work on for next year. I myself need to work on feeling angry a lot lately. I don’t really lash out on people. I just keep it inside me. Feeling angry a lot is a foreign thing to me. I always had patience, empathy, & understanding of people. But since doing my chemo & the election results I find myself getting frustrated with people & situations. I know it’s probably comes from not feeling in control of my life right now & to remind myself to take time out when I get overwhelmed. I’m happy you connected with your old friend. 9:59 I have this issue as well. You are a little older than me but I've struggled with community building recently as well. I use to be a socialite in New Orleans and in college, but now I get in my own way. And when I do I talk to much, or I think I do and it's a whole spiral
A splash of Barbie! Brilliant! It would look great on you. Sometimes I wish I was more into fashion and style. I'd certainly be in for splashing some Barbie here and there. But it's just never become a part of me. Oh well, thanks to the uniform, I don't even need to choose any style anymore. Yeah, I think I expressed my reservations about flying long haul. I'm slowly warming up to it but it's definitely not my favourite yet. Until now I've been to the major East Coast destinations, including Boston, also Chicago, LA and SF, and Johannesburg, Bangkok and Delhi. I have no problem dealing with time zones or getting enough sleep, I also like taking care of my passengers as much as on short haul, but I prefer the action and the buzz of three to four flights a day, over having that long flight with a big, energy-draining break in the service in the middle. Also, the longer the flight, the longer the layover. Many colleagues live for that, but unless I can go and have slice of pizza with my favourite RUclipsr, I mostly feel they're quite boring, being limited in my tourist activities by sleep requirements, budget and a measure of pre-flight-attendant travel saturation. Again, I'm open to finding more positive aspects and I won't be able to steer completely around them anyway, as it's my airline's policy to mix both categories. It's hard to accept that one is accepted. I think we're an overly complicated species... In a completely different context, earlier today I said "If ever I get to meet our programmer, I'm certainly going to give him/her/it/them/ourselves/X/R2D2 a piece of my mind." That Dunkins Cup! I must have been a magpie in a previous life. Anything that glitters is good! And finally: Although I'm watching this a few days later, I also wish you a very happy new year. My year wouldn't have been as rich without you in my life. Thank you!
4:31 it takes the same amount of time to fly from Philadelphia to San Francisco as to flying to Philadelphia to Lisbon. I'm too jr for this flight but I want it - it pays more and longer layover😂😢😂😊
