Congratulations on your wins at the cat show! I wanted to share my experience with the cat carrier you won. I had one with zippers, put my cat in it, all was well, until it wasn’t. He figured out he could keep pushing on the zipper until he could get his toe into the opening and get out. He got out in the car on the way to the vet. Thankfully he didn’t get under my feet and I was able to pull over and get him back into the carrier😅. I bought zip ties and fastened all but one opening. On the remaining zipper, I found a caliber hook that would fit through the zipper pulls, solved the possible escape problem. It never occurred to me he would be able to escape, apparently I under estimated his ability. I hope Buddy will enjoy the carrier!

Years ago i went to that cat show in Vegas. I absolutely loved it. Kinda like when a woman sees a baby, her heart melts, im like that with cats. After the cat show I made my husband take me to the local animal shelter. I adopted the best loving cat i have ever had. He has long passed but in my heart for ever. ❤

The cages that the cats are being showing with the bars I really didn’t like those cages. So many beautiful cats were there. Some of them beautifully marked. I really loved the color of the one cat 21:15 I’ve never seen a color like that on a cat..beautiful. I would of loved to see your face when you won your prizes. That was so awesome that you won. Bought a Sphynx from seeing one at a cat show and OMG he is incredibly intelligent with a personality like no other cat I’ve ever known before. Can highly recommend that breed if you are after an active cat!
Lovely video! Vacuum tip if you ever decide you need it, the old style no power “carpet sweepers” are much more tolerable for some cats, ours is a bissell something and was like 30 bucks on amazon. It keeps the fur down to a min on my area rugs and other than the first couple uses (mostly just curious of a new thing) our little herd 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈sleeps right thru. That was my idea, but I think it might give Buddy a little too much comfort being outside. He got out once and I never want that to happen again! I would like him to be afraid of that door opening. Lol
I bred and showed Brown Tabby Persians for over 30 years. I can guarantee you (like you said) most of these animals live the life of Riley at home. In regards to the cats calling, it all depends on the breed. Shorthairs are a lot more vocal than longhairs...you usually won't get a peep put of a Persian. Hope you had a good time at the Vegas Show...we have a show in the Bat Area this coming February if you are in the area.
Wow.. Tabby Persians?!? Do they have the 'M' on their foreheads? The most exotic kitty I've ever had was a Ragdoll Himalayan (mix) that a coworker gave me as a kitten years & years ago.. 😺 Now I have two spoiled tabby's.. 💕 xoxo

I have a norwegian forest cat and a khao manee, both got neutered after we bought them. They’re family members and not toys for shows … hello from Germany 🇩🇪
I did have one question & that was what happens when the cat wants to go potty because it looks like they are there a long time. My one cat was leash trained so that wouldn’t of been a problem for me. Anyways I was just wondering. Congrats again on your win! 😁🎉💚
That's great congrats. I never win anything either but one time we cleaned up and won 5 times at a benefit raffle. It was funny cause once everyone cheers, twice everyone says wow lookit u after that u start getting conspiracy looks lol😂. We put tickets in just like you, get over it people lmbo. So fun to win useful stuff. Question about Claire if u don't mind. If she had FIP are buddy and elenore positive too? I understood you had to keep positive and negative cats separated.
I'm not sure. I believe it's passed along by blood contact...but, I don't know much. Buddy is healthy as a horse, and Eleanor...while she's always breathed a little heavy, seems just fine.
It's been 3 years so clearly buddy and elenor are okay. I think I may be mixing up FIP & FIV. Looks like FIP can be transmitted via common litter box but is a corona virus (figures) that some cats can "clear" and be ok but some because of individual factors have more issues and get too sick. Poor Claire girl. Sorry u lost her she looks like a beauty for sure. Have a lovely week sir
I think if they are use to it it's not that bad for them. My dog use to like being in his crate. It was his safe space. As long as it's not used for punishment.

I'm not fond of hairless cats. There's just something about them that seems unappealing. Plus, my condo is pretty chilly in the winter as I rarely turn the heat above 68. I'm afraid that's probably too cold for hairless cat.

Most of the cages had a small litter box inside. Those cats are very well trained, apparently.
