Hey all, just wanted to mention these games were played on one of my diamond 3 MMR accounts, even though it got placed in plat 1 the MMR is still a bit higher. I'll do a main account climb soon I just want to get a good feeling about builds and everything. I also think bruiser items might will get buffed up a bit in the future, so I may even wait for that. But in the meantime this build did feel pretty good to me, I'm not sure if I like bloodmail or sterak's 3rd more but I'm leaning towards liking sterak's third more because it helps out with teamfighting a lot still. The way I see it is bloodmail is quite a bit more damage, but sterak's is decent damage and more survivability which I value a bit more because Urgot has pretty good base damage mid game from the shotgun knees.. ~ Thanks for watching.
I know it would be more niche, but do you think undending despair might be decent third for a tankier item? It seems like the heartsteel infinitely scaling its damage and heals wouldn't be the worst thing. At least if you don't desperately need the MR from Jaksho.
I think into full AD comps it can work later on in the build, I need to do more testing with it, sadly mages are dominating the game right now so I never see a good game for it.
Ah yes..in referene to the beginning of the vid, we do truly seem to be entering the new dark ages for Urgot as so many core items were legit gutted..like Sterak's dropping from 1k to 500 is disgustingly different it can't even be understated how much that will affect the outcomes of every game this patch. To be fair as an illaoi main, we have been pre-dominantly taking over the rift lately so I can understand them wanting to bench bruisers but lik holy fck it's Riot's special signature witching hour where they just love to nerf things completely into the ground.
Going to test bloodmail second today, I don't like the idea of heartsteel third personally though. Going to try BC>Bloodmail>Jak'Sho with conditioning/overgrowth today because i was getting blown up yesterday with full HP builds.
Yesterday I played a game and the whole game feels super bad, I guess I'll give myself a break for at least one patch in which the whole meta stabilizes
games are faster paced now than they were before and i don't understand how that's even possible. after 5 years playing urgot I'm giving up the game. he's unplayable and he's my favourite. I've lost all interest in the game. Urgot gets punished so hard early game and i feel like when i play urgot i need to be so much better than my opponents just to survive in lane and even getting 1 or 2 kills in lane is often times not enough to say i still won lane. if i try to stat check morde aatrox illaoi sett gwen anyone even ornn. i get one shot. i would rather lane against a vayne top every game than play vs typical bruisers nowadays. every game sett or warwich top. Every single bruiser tank or ranged character annihilates me. I get dived and destroyed i get forced off cs and bullied in lane. urgot has no power whatsoever and i give up. the only time urgot was ever balanced was when i first started playing the game and not too long ago when hull breaker was core build. Now its heart steel if you can even get it without losing lane completely. I just played a game vs illaoi and i never struggled vs this champion in any patch up until now. I know hes a good champ but i know his mechanics and i know how to punish him but its not possible this split anymore. This split has ruined my desire to play. i was emerald 1 at the end of last season and struggling. i got placed gold 2 and ive been demoted to gold 4 because ive lost nearly every game. my mental has gone completely. i wasnt playing on tilt or giving up i always try my best in game but i just give up now.

Yeah it's way too many heavy nerfs at once... I wish they would just nerf stuff slowly or one by one instead of everything at once.

Riot should also add wording explaination feature on they did add on wildrift but oon antiheal/shield and tenacity

Hope they rework this trash update just like they did with mythic items and countless other failed updates.
