You should seal up the backside of all the winter village stuff. When you're painting with the camera. You can see all your Lego on the shelves.

After the holidays I would love to see you use the UCS tables to create a Tatooine scene. Would be nice to see them in use and not just sitting on the shelf. What does everyone else think?

You could remove a road plate by the track and add a tram or train station.
I vote for opening the lunar new year set! The opal tiles would make an excellent rink. Hope everyone feels better!
What about a little bridge over the train track to connect the road. Would look great with some slight height on that connecting edge to blend in both areas👀🎄🎄

8:49 I look closely at this. To be honest, it looks more like (fishing) water that is surrounded by ice/snow.
If you have any of the old white bricks that yellow with age, it would be perfect for a yellow snow joke in the winter village😂

I would say DO take the opal pieces from the lunar new year set, and instead of just “parting” the whole thing out, just build it and MODIFY the ice rink where the old pieces would have been. Maybe give it a new look (the water/ice)!
An idea for the road could be to extend it past the tracks and make a parking lot for the ski hill.

I think parting the lunar set out is the way to go. Or build it and incorporate it into the village as the rink itself
You should get some of those Lego city ski sets for the ski resort it would look awesome! Except you would probably have to double then to get the right scale

You should build the entire Lunar New Years Ice Festival and place it in the village. Just place the most cultural elements in the Lantern festival

Love the way the winter village is coming along. But boy is it part intensive. It'll be worth it though. Can't wait for the next one! For the odd gaps on the edge of the rail: you could try putting some corner tiles or even angled plate if they can fit to fill in the gap.
I agree with others. The road needs to go. The village can rely on snowmobiles. Etc

To cover the outside train track, you can maybe try putting tiles instead of plates so you can put wedges on top

You know if you take those panels out of the lunar new year set, you could use the rest of the set and parts from your inventory to make a little Chinatown in your city.
Hi bricksie! After the road ends maybe you should add a cobelsrone path for SOME cars but also walkers to make it really feel like a winter “village”!
I think the road plates might be too much. I think a dots and studs track like on your city raised platform from the airstrip to the castle would be better. You can lead from the santa mountain to the ski lodge across the tram way… all on foot.. no vehicles and explains why they need the tram and gondala.
I would,ve parted that luner box and maybe made the road smaller.

A tram like this on the groundline of your city would be way more realistic than the highspeed train that's in your city now.

If you had the parts you could try the technique from the globe or Captain America shield to use those different wedge plates to create a smoother looking curve around the outside of the tracks.
Don't forget to add fences and trail signs!
