Honestly I’m a short hair gal. I love it so much, I get my long hair thrills from wigs. The longest I like my hair is a little bit below my shoulders, collarbone length basically. And Ellie’s hair length in LoU 2. I’ve grown this routine of cutting my hair into a pixie at the start of spring then letting it grow the rest of the year into a nice bob. Basically spring/summer pixie, autumn/winter bob. I do oils in my hair, bristle brush, silk pillows, everything for it since I dearly love my hair, just not long. I had open heart surgery and my hair started falling out, about 2years after it started growing back and I looked like I had a hair cut underneath my haircut with hair sticking out all over the place so I got an undercut pixie and then after it grew in around the bottom I cut the top to a short pixie... I miss my hair so much and I personally think that styling a pixie for me is harder than styling my long hair! It's a lot more up keep than I expected and I just miss having longer hair that I know how to style easily. Thanks for all the tips!
I’ve always envied people with long hair, I’ve never had long hair throughout my life. Thanks for the video! It’s helped me get through the awkward stages of growing out my pixie.
You look so cute with a pixie! I just recently cut my hair into a pixie for the first time in my life this is the shortest it's ever been. I had to do it bc my hair was so damaged and bleached and wouldn't grow, it felt so gross and thinner out. So I got a pixie cut they did the middle to the ends a raspberry color and I just see my roots growing really fast and my natural color. I am actually excited I will be having my natural color back, it's actually really pretty idk why I ever dyed it, I can slap myself 🤭 I was thinking let it grow out and leave the raspberry color for the end tips of my hair when it gets longer bc it looks awesome and I've never seen such a raspberry color on someone before so I think it'll look cool 😎 Ive been putting essential oils and castor oils on my scalp and hair overnight once it twice a week and I do not wash my hair until the night after the oil treatment I do and it seems to be working bc my hair looks super healthy and is growing a lot faster than I'd ever imagined. I also have aloe vera shampoo, coconut milk conditioner, and coligen & biotin shampoo/conditioner. It is all healthy and works for me. I have naturally thick curly hair so when I get out the shower I put heat protection in my hair and have the Revlon brush blow-dryer and it blow dries my hair is 2 minutes, I'm constantly changing the way I style it. The only thing I am worried about is when it gets a little longer like the mullet stage what do I do? I will not rock that style sorry but I don't want to cut it short again. 😶 Idk but I am gonna have to figure out a way to style it or just have to cut it a little bit so it doesn't grow like that, any other way to avoid that? I am all new to the pixie cut, I wish I could show you a picture, some days I'm into it, some days I miss my long hair. 😶 Oh well this too shall pass! Thanks for your awesome video/advice. You rock 🤘 and look so cute with your pixie, you can def. Pull it off! 😻💕🤍
I just discovered you through your curly hair video where you were talking about wanting hair to your booty so the timing of this is funny! It’s awesome you’re so open with your hair journey

I got pixie cut 2 months ago due to my hair fall and scalp problems, I love it for real at first now I'm looking like a mushroom right now and it's growing upwards, it's spikey and wavy at the same time. I wanna cry sometimes when I see it😂 there's part of me who wish I didn't cut it short but I remember I cut it for my hair growth, I don't know what to do right now
Yeah see I use a very lightweight leave-in which last me 4 days I can go without washing my hair but I do have to use dry shampoo for sure my hair is extra smooth and extra moisture because every time I wash it I use Garnier Fructis grow long and strong and it's got ceramide in it and it works really good my hair and it's a fortifying shampoo which is extra moisturizing so you definitely want that and then I also use the leave-in and my hair is never been better you definitely want something with ceramide it doesn't have to be sulfate free if you are very oily. I absolutely love your tips though and a lot of them I'm going to put to use for sure also I use the Garnier Fructis coconut and Macadamia hair food every time I wash or I use my argan oil hair mask
I had a pixie to side shaved hair for almost 4 years and believe me I loved it when I’m older i might do it again but now I want to try growing my hair out so yeah.
I'm currently sitting with a bob that's a little longer than my chin and the layers from my long hair have been making it so hard to style to look cute so I'm gonna go to a pixie cut this December for a clean slate and this video was super helpful :)
I have tried to grow my hair out twice this year and got so frustrated chopped it off. Also comments from friends who didn’t like the in between length. I am now officially going to try again!
i get my hair cut often and recently wanted to grow it to a bob but i dyed my hair black and purple a month ago and i dont know if it will allow my hair to grow fast anymore. :(
I love mine but apparently according to waiters, store employees ect. I appear to be a "handsome young boy" and I also have my eye on these haircuts called wolfcuts, with the one i want i could pull off a good Ferra Fauccett if I took time too
Great vid! I cut mine into a pixie because I was growing out my hair color and going gray. Love the pixie, but now I'd like bob length....then shoulder length gray layered.
I’m trans and cut my hair before and it was wonderful on me -but then my mom took me to clean it up / trim it and now i ended up with this pixie cut and i want to grow it a bit so that its thicker
I got a pixie cut this October 10th, and I am going to go for my trim on December 8th, I have never grown my hair out before so watching this video is helpful but i feel discouraged and regretful of my pixie cut choice. I have thick course hair, and it has a slight wave to it, so It looks horrible right now and it no longer looks chic.
I'm a guy I try growing my hair at age 8 to 9 down to my shoulder but got greasy so fast and I got fail attempt again at 10 and another at 13 and another at 18 now almost 21 is down to my collarbone
if I cut off my mullet tail it will be a pixie cut but I really want shoulder length bob back I dont wanna look like a dude, you look cute with it but it dont suit me im very insecure with this
In February I received an involuntary shag. (Looks like a mullet!) I asked for a bob. Salon owner gave me free haircuts for a year......yes, it was that bad 😔
I hate that I went to the hairdresser and wanted a wolf cut and Ended up with a pixie cut, which isn’t only unflattering for my hair but also makes me super uncomfortable about myself
I’m trying to grow mine out, I’m on some strong medication for my rheumatoid arthritis, I’m not looking forward to hair falling out. When it’s mega short my hair stays put but as soon as I grow it it falls out. Not sure anyone has any advice, I take vitamin D3, B vitamins and olive oil capsules. I heard zinc may help?
I had mine cut off early this year because the perimenopause and excessive sweating was annoying me. I instantly regretted it. I feel like an ugly old boy xx
I went for a pixie cut (again) and my hairdresser's salon had closed, so I went to a highly rated salon and despite taking a picture of what I wanted, and asking for a femenine pixie, the lady clipped my sideburns off 😢 I look like a man (not a good look on me). So Im here to learn to grow it out. Its going to take a very long time before I trust another hairdresser again!
I don’t even want “long” hair because my hair is fine and thin. I just want an earlobe or chin length inverted bob sort of style. Sounds easy? NOPE! I have tried and tried and tried. I end up looking haggard and awful. Trouble starts when I can no longer just use my hands and a blow dryer and picking up the brush. I’ve had a pixie for 15 years and i feel like I don’t know how to handle anything else.
I have a question, so I was wondering if I could keep my half shave without shaving the other side, I’m trying to see if there’s a possible way i could only grow one side quicker and once it gets to my neck go to a salon and cut it even? Could u tell me if that’s possible?
@@saraholiveras I might could also try to part my non-shaved side to my shaved side until it grows out, so u think that could work instead? Sorry if I’m asking a lot it’s just I’m going on a date and I’m regretting my haircut😅

omg that sounds so cute! just do alot of masks and oil treatments and you should be good to go!
@@saraholiveras okay thanks :)
Within seconds I instantly vibed with you omg I love you
thank you 🥺❤️
I love mine but apparently according to waiters, store employees ect. I appear to be a "handsome young boy" and I also have my eye on these haircuts called wolfcuts, with the one i want i could pull off a good Ferra Fauccett if I took time too
do whatever you want! ❤️🔥
I'm sure it looks great! :)
I shaved my whole hair of because I killed it about a year ago and it’s taking forever to grow back 😩
you got this! just uploaded the ultimate guide to growing out your hair - maybe you'll find it helpful ❤️🔥
You are gorgeous! Your pixie looks fabulous you and your personality just makes you look more beautiful!
Thank you 🥺❤️
It’s the vibe for me.
🥺❤️🔥
the intro quite literally reeled me in. would’ve been an A+ essay
I was growing out my lockdown pixie cut and when it was jaw length I decided to cut it again which I regret now 🙁
omg i always cut mine when mine hits my shoulders so i feel youuuuu
not me freaked out when she said got a pixie cut 4 months ago. I got mine in June & now it’s September. I don’t regret it fyi
Hahahah it's always the way it works
hahahahahaha omg THE INTRO was ME. literal me. lol How funny
the girls that get it GET it lol
I’ve had a pixie cut for two years and I’m finally growing it out
I love your energy!! ✨
Great informative video. Thanks!
Thanks so much!
I'm glad I found this. I'm growing out my pixie for winter and I'm struggling with it.
Great tips. I love how interesting you started the video and you are absolutely correct that love and embrace who you are. Blessings!
Thank you!
I'd love to see all growth stages. I'm going through growth with severe breakage, .so, very unwanted short layers.
I have a ton of hair growth videos on my channel :)
Can you do please do a video I’m getting a mullet kind of pixie I’m really struggling I don’t know what to do
hi! I have tons of hair growth videos on my channel :)
@@saraholiveras thank you
I'm a guy I try growing my hair at age 8 to 9 down to my shoulder but got greasy so fast and I got fail attempt again at 10 and another at 13 and another at 18 now almost 21 is down to my collarbone
omg yay!
Your intro made me happy:)
thanks 🥺❤️🔥
if I cut off my mullet tail it will be a pixie cut but I really want shoulder length bob back I dont wanna look like a dude, you look cute with it but it dont suit me im very insecure with this
girl i feel insecure too - but thank you! i always cut the back off bc the mullet makes me feel not cute as well.
thanks for such a lovely video! you have such gentle and free-spirited vibes
Thank you for watching :)
In February I received an involuntary shag. (Looks like a mullet!) I asked for a bob. Salon owner gave me free haircuts for a year......yes, it was that bad 😔
omg noooo
Really love your energy ❤
How did you know the.. “maybe even five months” part haha! That entire intro was exactly spot on lol
hahahaha ❤️
I’m same way I’m back to my pixie and plan to grow back long then I’ll do it again
hahaha that is what i always do
I hate that I went to the hairdresser and wanted a wolf cut and Ended up with a pixie cut, which isn’t only unflattering for my hair but also makes me super uncomfortable about myself
I also cut my hair because I saw Emma Watson’s pixie cut! I really love it but I do feel ready to have it long again
I recently got the lain iwakura haircut, let's just say it didn't go well.. It's kinda cute but not for my curls
I'm sure it looks great :)
I have a short pixie for 2 years i love it but im ready for my long hair again! Wish me luck
woah sameee
Good luck!! :)
I had mine cut off early this year because the perimenopause and excessive sweating was annoying me. I instantly regretted it. I feel like an ugly old boy xx
I went for a pixie cut (again) and my hairdresser's salon had closed, so I went to a highly rated salon and despite taking a picture of what I wanted, and asking for a femenine pixie, the lady clipped my sideburns off 😢
I look like a man (not a good look on me).
So Im here to learn to grow it out. Its going to take a very long time before I trust another hairdresser again!
What products like styling products should we use that work well and are sulfate and silicone free?? That’s a hard one
should i make a video on this? 🧐
😆 Love that mullet encouragement!
😉😇
Your intro cracked me up! Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
in anither video you used a scalp massaging brush thing in the shower, do you still recommend that? great video!
yes for sure! mine broke so i need a new one :(
Commenting to boost engagement!
hehe tysm ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I'm here because I got a pixie haircut yesterday, I didn't expect that it wouldn't suit me😭
I'm sure you look awesome! def takes some getting used to in the beginning :)
Wish you luck sarah also
Tbh you look great with both hair length
Thank you!!
I want to shave my head again but idk if i should
did you do it?? I've shaved my head before too! lol
Perfect timing. I'm deciding tomorrow if I'm cutting back into pixie or growing out.
what did you end up doing??
I'm growing out hair and I know it's a tiny mullet but I thinks it's cute
I got my pixie 6 months ago and i now want to look like robin buckly lol so yeah im growing it out
Omg cute!! Love her
Great help. Thanks for the video and telling us about KOS protein!
I got my hair cut short but she tinned alot of it do you know how long it will take to thicken again😮
Oh no! Probably a few weeks/months. Def try to find someone who knows how to cut thick hair for next time :)
I have a question, so I was wondering if I could keep my half shave without shaving the other side, I’m trying to see if there’s a possible way i could only grow one side quicker and once it gets to my neck go to a salon and cut it even? Could u tell me if that’s possible?
I would ask a hair stylist :)
@@saraholiveras oh ok!
@@saraholiveras I might could also try to part my non-shaved side to my shaved side until it grows out, so u think that could work instead? Sorry if I’m asking a lot it’s just I’m going on a date and I’m regretting my haircut😅
@@user-hp7zg2fi9f no worries at all! i am not a professional so I would def ask someone who is. Good luck on your date - i'm sure you look beautiful :)
@@saraholiveras thank you!
i rlly wish i kept on growing my hair out last year, so that i couldnt come back to this vid
same queen lol
Mine is like the yours at the beginning of video lol idk what to do but tuck behind ear and swoop across forehead
Love this! Story of my life for sure...
I’ve grown my pixie out to about earlobe length,it’s driving me nuts it’s always in my face now 😂
Thank you for the tips! Very reassuring 😊
That "your body is your vessel" advice is a favourite of mine!
Thank you! I am glad they were helpful :)
I cut my pixie 9 years ago.... I think its time to grow it out
