My Dad killed a wild boar and fed a little Village in Germany while he served there for the Berlin Airlift. It took three shots which is a lot for a Kentucky Hunter. The boar dropped at Dad's feet. The Village cooked the boar and held a feast and they sang the Weidman Heil in his honor. I believe this to be an ancient hunting song. I'm so proud of my Dad and grateful to the village for bestowing such a fine honor on my Dad.
Hunting spirit - every one in Germany can get a hunting license, but the levels for the exams are extremely high and you have to learn a lot, but if you made it, you get a German hunting license wich allows you to hunt all over the world and you get also a full German gun license for all non automatic weapons.
Every so often I comment under a song I find and say it's my favorite. This can only happen for so much longer. Perhaps I should just say German folk/military music *is* my favorite music.
As long as such songs are alive, Germany will be alive! Europe will be alive. Please keep them on your channel, in your hearts, in your souls, in your memory, and be sure to pass these songs on to the next generations. Your children must continue the tradition. Future generations must not forget the old Europe, which now various forces are trying to brazenly destroy by reeducating the youth.
