Great tips. As a mindset trick that works for me, I would like to add visualization. Especially when closing on a double, when waiting for my turn, staring down the section I need to hit and imagining the dart going in.
Good video. I try to keep it 100% positive. I want my opponent to do his best because it is the competing that is fun. I'm gonna win AND I'm gonna win versus your best darts.
I stopped playing against the computer on DartCounter and DartConnect because I got too caught up on my average. To the point it stopped being fun and began developing dartitis. Can’t wait to playing against live competition in a bar!
this is a great reference video to watch over and over again. wondering if you have any suggestions for calming my nerves. I'm technically better than most of the guys I play with but my nerves seem to be the great equalizer. all of these tips will help a little bit, but is there a specific exercise or mindset I can take at the oche to calm myself down in the moment?
I just got into darts after watching the world championship and obviously I'm struggling a lot since I'm a beginner but after watching like 5 of your videos I've been seeing mad improvement in my darts. Thanks for the tips.
Very good tips! Easy to listen to, difficult to master! In key moments in a match, the opponent is on a finish, as are we. It can be helpful to step back and take a moment to erase your mind! Refocus and visualize the throw and hitting your target before going to the oche to throw the next three darts. Reset your mind so to say. Thanks for the videos, very helpful.
This was great advice, especially the part about having a positive mindset and having fun. I had a game over the weekend against a guy who I know I can beat 9 times out of 10... but because of my bad mindset going in I lost 3-2 🙄 can't wait to get back to it with a positive and happy mindset! 👌💪🎯
This was unbelivible helpfull video, when i am in that right mind and believing yourself 100%, me and my friend just got our best avrage game tolppa, 76.2, amazing, last year it was 60 and two yers ago 42,0 💪
Focus + picture in mind of my dart hitting the target At my point, its actually hard, because i need to stop thinking of my throw. Im at month 4 so i think its quite normal at this time Its fun to work on mindset i think. Hard but worth it. Good video!
At league play last year, i said to my partner (and the other team heard me as well) “I’m just going to hit a 180” aaaaaand BOOM💥 Great tips and a great video. Happy darting everyone!
The pink flights strategy is honestly top tier mind games. Did you think of that on your own or did you hear that philosophy somewhere else and apply it to darts in your own unique way?
I was using pink flights at first because I liked the color scheme with the black barrel and stem, then someone told me they didn’t want to lose to me cause my pink flights lol that’s when I realized it was giving me an edge (pending on the opponent)
Ok, i do this, but during competition we no have judges, opponents type their own scores and i always check if it correct. It doesn't helps me, but if not to do that many opponent 60 will be 140. I want to relax and don't see how opponent throws and can not to do it.
Hey! Yeah it’s def easier said than done, it’s something that will come with time and experience in competition. Maybe look down at your darts while they throw, or turn around

if youre not a competive player nonexpations, it helped me!

Agreed! I always manifest my big shots. Thanks for sharing!
Great tips! Thank you. My mindset can go south so easily. I try to stay positive. Sometimes I can and sometimes I can't.
Mindset is the hardest part!

Usefull content ❤
Great video! Looking forward to more content 😊

I can relate!! Same with remote tournaments, I’m too much in my head when I’m competing at home.
Recently subscribed, and I use your "dart advice" in life as well. Great stuff.
Thanks man! Yeah a lot of my darts stuff I try to make applicable to real life in general too!
Thanks for your advises! I have a negative mindset frequently. Now I will try to change it. Make more videos about psychology of darts.
Hey! Def have a lot more coming as I feel it’s the most important part of the game, thanks for watching!
The pink flights cracked me up for sure! 😂 Great tips!
I miss them lol
Thank you for sharing great tips 🙂
Thanks for watching!

Outside of some drinks lol breathing is huge, also one of those things that eases up with the more experience you get

That makes me happy to hear! Keep it up!

I find myself doing the reset more and more these days! As the intensity of the match increases, sometimes need that extra second for the big darts

A bad mindset will give the advantage to the lower skilled player!
@@BullshotDarts absolutely 💯

Good video!
Thanks! Yeah you’ll get out of that habit in time, getting out and actually
Playing against people will help when the time comes
That works, yes! Thanks!

aaaaaand BOOM💥
Great tips and a great video. Happy darting everyone!
Haha nice!
Great tips.
Thanks Alan!
Just the video I needed to watch as I have been struggling with my throw and mindset. I was the 180th like on the video…..a sign lol. Let’s hope so.
Its def is a sign!! Haha 180 time!
Wow. Awesome
Good tips, I've been using pink flights for awhile now haha
Nice! Use that line next time someone says something lol. I miss mine, I don’t like the l style pink color
Really good practical Tipps, well presented.. easier said than done, however 😉
Always easier said than done haha

What darts do you use and what woeght are they
I use the rob cross pixels, 25g
I've been using pink amazons forever.

Ugh. I love you.
It sounds stupid but in a game with such a small margin for error, the smallest change of mentality can mean a difference by inches.
Definitely!!
