- On 25 December, 2022, Funky Friday was updated one last time before it was never updated ever again. What happened to Funky Friday? What's going to be it's future? Is it going to cause any effects to FNF channels? and more to cover up all on this video, we are going to cover it all. This video will share about my opinions and thoughts since the start of Funky Friday all the way to now, and also telling some things that not many people would know about.
The Roblox Game Funky Friday is a Ro-FNF fan-made game based on the game Friday Night Funkin'. It is created on February 26, 2021. In the game you do multiplayer matches of rapping with another person... or basically a 1v1 match to see who's going to be the best at the rapping battle. The game has many mods and many songs to search, find and play, having different kinds of settings, optimizations and animations too.
*Funky Friday still has a chance to be updated, not 0%.

It makes me sad witnessing the fall of a game I've been a part of since near the very beginning.
Great video. I hope that eventually the game will update at some point, but as of right now it's difficult to have hope.
It's why I've moved on to making videos on FNB mostly, though I don't think I have the heart to ever officially "quit" until there's an official announcement that there won't be any updates.
They didn't even give us a warning.

I remember streaming Funky Friday almost everyday back in February of 2022, It was fun to get to know people and I met some amazing people along the way, and especially meeting new faces. I miss the old Funky Friday Content though. It was fun to stream and play with people.

to be fair ,as a former rhythm gamer and a former Funky Friday player, FNF as a game has fallen off. Though there are people that still play fnf, the game itself isn't as popular as it used to be. There has been some things going on bts yk? Then again there were some complications with the game weeks and even months before the last update. I like this documentary and how it's capturing the aspect of the question that people have till this day. My simple response or conclusion would straight up be that there are some things going on, and/or its like what happened to Even more fnf, its too time consuming and they got bored. Either way amazing video man.
I'm really sad this was the end.
I am one of the modelers for Funky Friday, and that was one of the main reasons why I have not quit Roblox. I've always loved rhythm games, and making things. When I was hired, my job was doing the things that I loved. Now that I've lost this job, I think I'm done with Roblox.

I remember when I first played ff In November 2021, and it was a fun game, it was the main reason on why I started my yt career and started uploading ff stuff back in January 2022, and now, after ff got bored, i don’t interest on it anymore and I stopped playing every fnf games and taking a break from posting vids, Good documentary

You're really right about the situation. i was a 100% ff youtuber too, but since there isnt any progress, i edited osu mania too, also started to be a meme creator and it works very well for me. I think every ff youtuber slowly started to try other games and other content too 👍

ff gave the skills to me to fight noobs. but the game isn't about that. it's about having fun with friends. I still think that about the game. I quit FF, not like really quit, I play it sometimes to see if it got boring. I moved to Monday Morning Misery, Fnb, but FF is a big part of my FNF career. I just wanna see the game grow up again.

this makes me so sad cuz when I became “good”at funky friday,my goal became to become one of the best ff players and I didn’t quit for a while but after the game stopped updating it got so boring and I lost my motivation and gave up on my dream…

Nice documentary. I do know that when I had a small comeback to FF it was much more unsuitable for content then last time as I was getting 50x less views on my most popular video during that period.. I think people just got really bored of FF bc of how repetitive it got, which I can understand

there are a couple fnf mods that are huge and are still ongoing such as the corruption mod from phantom fear but i dont think that big mods will be enough to bring back the attention fnf had when it was at its peak

This video is really good but there is a lot of things that aren’t right.
First of Funky Friday mostly die because other games like Doors released out there and also because the devs did a lot of things that aren’t forgivable.
Fnf isn’t dying, it’s just that the popular mods are still in development and so is the game, and trust me, once Indie Cross V2, Mario Madness V2 or Week 8 will releases, channels like community games will go up to 1-5 Million Views like it was before, it’s just that it’s currently school time and that some mods needs to be slowed down.

other games releasing doesn't mean the game itself is dying, it's not gonna "take" the players away from the game, I also think the game fell down a little because people have lost interest.
-I know those mods that are currently WIP or on development if it even releases or being published it wouldn't be the same like when the game reached it's peak at around 2021, you are right that It'll go up again yes, but maybe not that high, I'd say the views would be at around like 2-3million

Funky Friday was a GREAT game. And I mean, GREAT game. This was actually the first FNF game I've ever played, at the time, I didn't even know the original game! The game was a great game, and it's sad to see it go. But, I do have OTHER FNF Roblox games I play. Like Basically FNF: Remix! Or, even, Friday Night Bloxxin'! Again, the game was very good. I played ff when it almost first came out like it was r15 it’s pretty much what got me into rhythm games I would grind all day but yeah it got really boring such blend asf updates low key miss it got me a lot of friends and epic memory’s
Honestly, MMM is the one I play more because it looks really accurate to the source material. (also my somewhat bad computer can handle it)
I think mmm takes the lowest memory (cpu usage whatever Idk what it's called) out of all rofnf games so I think yeah

And the other fnf youtuber already change the theme (idk what is that so basically they're just change the video from fnf to other game). It 100% isn't FF's fault for not updating but instead it's fnf having the same things, you fight an imaginary character, hit the arrows with little gimmicks inside of each mods and that's it, nothing else to do, it's the same on every mod.

As a FF player I would agree with this. FF FNB LFNF are all dying (and MMM) they are all dying due to the decline of fnf in general because there is no uniqueness in posting fnf content. Not anymore. I have quit as well and yt like rektway ominous nebula and more have quit so this video is totally true.
I would like to say that it was mostly the company that bought them for getting a lawsuit and all when it was the small team it was doing great but it also falls under fnfs downfall

If funkyfriday never updates agian you can always try fridaynight bloxxin it have more animations and midgame cutscenes multiple note mechanics and tons of mods it still updats not as frequent though because they are workng on bigger updates
Incredible if u ever feel like u want to upload other content u should try undertale and deltarune! Honestly its ur choice!
undertale and deltarune is probably one the good choices out there but I like watching people playing them instead of me doing it, great recommendation though, I have some plans about content change already
