he is telling the truth. there is no account of anyone in the new testament paying tithe or any apostle asking for tithe.
prove it if he is lying. he put all his fact based on the scripture you can also put yours then we weigh rather than just saying he is a liar without and support from the scripture.

VaChiwenga vanotodawo kuvhenekerwa. He needs to understand that when Abraham met Melchizedek, he was not learning how to give tithes. It was his custom. Also, Abraham and Jacob (just like we Gentiles of today) lived under GRACE which PREDATED the Law of Moses and the Temple worship (Genesis 14:20; 28:20-22). They, both, understood the principle of paying tithes which is obligatory to every believer.
