    Sir jahan par - negative lena chahiye tha wahan par +positive le liye hain aap 5cos30°+10cos60°-12cos40°-4-15cos60°+12cos50°=-3.64N

      Theta can never be negative.
      Actually its magnitude is taken in "mod function". And we know every negative value becomes positive in mod function.

      I always consider the angle w.r.to horizontal X-axis which is convenient for me,,, so thats why i took it 50 as 90-40=50

      Yes brother,,, but here both fx and fy are negative, thats why i took negative sign as it is. It will not make any difference while finding direction of resultant.
      If one of them is positive and other is negative then the problem may arrive.
