I've given the 'anesthesia' for several organ donors. It is done with the utmost respect for the donor as we try to keep the organs alive until they are harvested. Sometimes it is incredibly difficult to do. The professionalism of the teams I have worked with was astounding. When they pour the iced saline onto the heart to stop it and radically slow it's metabolism, my job was over. It is then that I am completely struck by the finality of this person's sacrifice. It is the only type of case where the anesthesia provider is finished before the surgeons. Utterly surreal.

He is a very very good man, as militar the servic and later, the body must have life - he give self for other people. For me he is a hero, and I love him. I hope and pray we see us at the „ living room“ at Jesus 🥰😇
What a selfless act on the part of Staff Sgt Soesbe, his family, his fellow soldiers, and the hospital staff. May he continue to rest in power.🙏.
Jordy has earned the highest honor, his angel wings. This completely humbled me, not to mention brought me to tears. Touched my heart and soul.
What a beautiful tribute to a most loving patriot. True heartfelt sacrifice. God loves you
Salute from one vet to another. Your job is done, you did good. RIP brother.
Thank you for your service!
Big respect from The Netherlands.
Salute!
God bless this person, welcome him into heaven with your open arms.
The only thing larger than the lump in my throat and the tears in my eyes is this brave soldiers heart and sacrifice. God bless him and his family, and may he rest in honored glory.🇺🇸
No greater love than a hero who stands when duty calls and even after life the giving so more will live!! Thank you brother for your service, selfless service and may God hold you in his arms!! God Bless your families service and may he bless you all!!!
What an emotional thing, even for us to witness via this video. I'm suprised those people weren't all bawling. I never knew the guy, and I would have been. That's a huge sacrifice for others, and the kind of thing that earns wings.
how do you "thumbs down" such a heroic moment.
This fella is giving everything he has and ever will have, and you "thumbs down" a massive sacrifice of one person to provide so much to so many.
There are just plain dumb ass losers in this world that don’t deserve to live. Yet they do. They actually hate themselves so they bring attention to anything other than themselves and I don’t understand it
@@wb3161 i couldn't have said better, a true soldier, may good Lord bless his soul and rest in peace
@@wb3161 You are so right! This young soldier gave a gift so others may live. The folks who are so callous and dumb will never know what honor is.
The “America sucks and military bad” kinda people
I don't decry his gift but I do take exception to the adulation and "flag waving". Since when is a Staff Sgt to be saluted? What does "being a hero mean today"? One member of the honor party was so moved, she finished off her coffee! We might like to reflect on a "massive sacrifice". And stealing part of Chur chill's Battle of Britain speech does little to enhance your opinion. [And yes, I did serve in the military for 9 years and many a time dragged a comrade off the streets to the ambulance]
From the daughter of a service man, I thank you for your service and your selfless sacrifice, Sargent. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. God Speed sir.🇺🇸
How in the HELL can anyone dislike this video??? There are some evil people out there.
They are called Democrats
Optimus Locust That was my first guess too. They hate everything that has to do with America. Yet they stay. Baffling!
@@TampaJohn nobody wants them, that's why they never moved to Canada in 2016 lol.
Liberals who hate America
RIP
This soldier is the true definition of a HERO! Thank you for your service, thank you for wanting to help others even when it's the very last thing you do. I pray your soul has eternal peace and blessings and peace for your family 🥰
God was waiting for him to arrive to heaven so that he could be given a medal.
Good could have done him a favour and avoided the stroke the good either didn’t want or couldn’t do that so it is either impotent or evil
@@mkoschier or he gave humans possibility to ruin world and bring death and suffering in to it. Either way he did not stop the stroke from happening. If he exists he has a good reason.
Man of the north 2 bold assumptions here that you need to demonstrate a) there is a good and b) how do you know his reasons
@@mkoschier I assume a creature capable of creating universe would have good reasons to allow things happen. I never argued he is bad or good. If I did I would do it based on assumption he is like us humans.
Man of the north yep please demonstrate and not just assume that please, you made an extraordinary claim without evidence that can be rejected without reason
I'm choking up, with no regret, a beautiful tribute to one of our finest!
Amazing.
May your God bless you and keep you safe in heaven.
I'm British and want to thank you for your service and sacrifice , helping to keep us safe and have our freedom.
👍🇬🇧
Where do we get such men? Gods blessings upon them all.
God bless this man for his honorable service even in death. Beautiful thing to do.
Yes it is
I watch these Honor Walks but I believe they're really a Heros Walk. ❤

I'm just now seeing this.Oh my Lord..How touching this is.Thankyou for allowing me to see this. Its so beautifully heartbreaking..Sincere sympathy to family and friends. And hospitol staff also.
I'm sorry you have to go thru this.prayers.
I'M A DONOR. I WANT EVERYTHING THAT SOMEONE CAN USE TO HAVE IT. I KNOW IT IS HARD BUT IF I CAN SAVE A LIFE I'M ALL FOR IT. THANK ALL OF YOU WHO HAS GIVEN LIFE TO SOMEONE WHO NEEDED AN ORGAN. GOD BLESS.
As a kidney recipient last year I speak from experience. Your donation will be forever life changing. Not just for the recipient but for their family, friends, and coworkers. People who donate are true heroes. Much love and respect to you. 🥰
Amazing.... Selfless as a Soldier and Selfless until the end. Just AMAZING...
The honor walk is such a beautiful way to honor the person and their family for doing the ultimate act of love. I tear up every time I view it. Thank you for sharing. 🙏😪
Példamutatás a család részéről! Megrendítő tisztelet és köszönet a közösségtől!
My heart breaks for going into harms way to keep America free then to donate your organs is miraculous. God be with all during this time and may all be enfolded in love.
My husband is a military man and I love that he's been a peace keeper and been in the army for over 30 years now. Why would people thumbs down this are you mad, I'd be honoured and so would my husband. May this wonderful sole rest in peace and thank you.
The people who gave the thumbs down 👎 are all brain 🧠 dead
As many of these as I have seen, it's a powerful moment that you can never get used too
Dan ,I doubt we ever will for I too am moved to tears
It evokes so many emotions at once. Sad yet beautiful.
What a wonderful legacy! May his loved ones, friends and comrades be blessed as he is!
I can't stop crying! This is heartbreaking! I hope his organ recipients feel his presence the rest of their lives.
No man hath greater love than this, that he lay down his life for a friend ! Doc Mike USN From the Bible
“Honor and Sacrifice. For God and for Country; til thy breath be thy last.” This soldier held his final moments with the American Flag draped over him while countless people stood in respect and solidarity along side him. To lay down your life so that others may live demands respect. This man was a walking/talking embodiment of the American flag. Seeing scenes like this, and then to contrast it with others out in the streets burning it - nothing sickens me more. But to *this* man, we salute you. 🇺🇸
The US military are terrorists, dying for the same group of scum that did 9/11.......ISRAEL.
ready to give their lives for oil industries with miserable wages to make the rich richer and in the end they commit suicide out of remorse for what they did
@@truthexposed9916 what? How do you figure that? Like is Israel a colony of the United States???? No , it is a separate country. And I think you need to get it into your head or bad things will happen to you.
@Chris Bateman
You're a brainwashed MORON, might want to learn the truth before you show the world what an idiot you are.
@@truthexposed9916 shut up u idiot
I showed this video to a friend after it popped up in my recommendations. He sais one thing that stuck with me: "This is the kind of sacrifice where when his soul gets to Heaven, God and all the angels will bend the knee in respect."
Rest in peace brother. From a fellow soldier and 12 year infantryman. We'll see you on the other side keeping guard at the gates of heaven.
God bless this Angel on earth ...so moving and in a time of heartbreak this young man gave hope and a second chance to others ....Amazing
This is what a hero is and does, from a brother in arms, may God Bless you and welcome you into a much better place......Rest in Peace!👊🙏🇺🇸
Thank you for your service!
I’m thinking that the lady on the right, behind his bed, was his Mother. She had such a pained face. Made me cry. Thank you, Soldier, for your service. God is waiting for you in Heaven. God Bless
That man gave the ultimate sacrifice and decided to give others a chance to live. A hero through and through.
Definition of a Hero SSG James is. Hope I can be that brave when my time comes.
Sending much love to the family for their brave decision to have his legacy live on through others.
Almighty God bless Jordy and all soldiers who give their lives so we ALL may live free.
RESPECT to this brave man, from Wales UK.
This guy is a real American Hero.
This man is a hero on many levels. God bless him and his family.
Pitimat. You liver eyed troll. Get out of our country. You are a big pos. I would love to meet you face to face. I got a history lesson for you. You best stay in your mommas basement.
@@nonyabiz9912 What I just watched made me relize I have nothing to ever complain about
That is both so sad but so inductive to being proud of someone who gives his all that others may survive his debilitation. God bless him!
God Bless this young man and his family. He served his country well and now he gives the ultimate sacrifice to save another person through organ donation. 🙏
GOD BLESS THAT MAN.GOD HAS TAKEN BACK HIS HERO.
What a hero, hero for his country, and his family, god bless him x
Man if this doesn't bring a tear to ur eye ,
A true patriot god bless him 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😇🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 homeward bound
am in pain for them, and my brothers see them doing their work with respect in my country, Iraq. I was a witness to their heroism and sacrifices, and I wished for their help in getting rid of the militias and criminals, may God protect you, good soldiers and the American people..
Some people are born Heroes my prayers over his family know that he's in a much better place
I pray too.
This was a beautiful film of one man's sacrifice to his fellow man. He brings great honour to himself and to his family. Not knowing of this story until now makes me wonder what this superb example to humanity could have become. May his family find peace.
A stroke at his age? Dam. Thank you sir for everything you gave. God bless you.
Thank you sir... a true hero, and selfless to the last. God bless him and his family.
God bless. That’s a person who serves on all levels. God will greet him with the glory of eternal life. 🇺🇸🙏🏻. Rip. To his family may u find peace. I’ve done this a couple times so I feel it !
So young, yet giving others a chance in life when his life was finished. Nothing but the upmost of respect for him and his entire family.
The ultimate act of kindness and humanity. May your brave, courageous, valiant soul now rest in eternal peace, Staff Sgt. Soesby, and may God forever watch over your loved ones. Much respect.
RIP soldier thank you for your service and your gift of life. My brother died waiting for a kidney.
“No greater love does a man have, than to give his life for his friends”. I hope he knew the Lord as His Savior, to enter into the life that is truly LIFE - eternal and in God’s loving presence.
Thank from the bottom of my heart
