I absolutely love Anthony and everything he's made, but I really enjoy Saosin with Cove. I think it's probably because I got into the band when Cove was the singer. This is great to see. Though I am glad they were able to figure out whatever needed to happen with Anthony.

Man I wish Australia got this show. We had a tour earlier this year with Anthony and it was promoted as "All The Albums, All The Hits" and they didn't play a single song that was made with Cove as vocalist. To say the least, the fans were pissed. This concert looks unreal thanks for uploading!!
@@oliburton i think i can try to provide some sort of answer from a podcast i was listening to with Anthony on and its pretty much just about Anthony doesn't feel connection to the song and I can't lie if that's the real reason then yeah not a very strong one. I can't confirm where I heard it but he's done a few like lead singer syndrome etc and he says something about it in one of those but I cannot pinpoint which one.
I went to the Melbourne show this year! I thought I was the only one super disappointed. The performance was awesome but I left so empty having waited years to hear those songs again from my favourite band. I eventually saw some negative press but pretty limited. In hindsight I kind of get it. They're Cove's songs or Anthony's songs. Both Saosins are awesome, just a few of my personal favourites are Cove. I'll always have that the first performance and the perfection of the recorded versions to enjoy. It was definitely false advertising, whoever was responsible for it (or not checking it with the band).

I’m so down for Anthony and Cove to trade off shows. We all know Cove Saosin is a total different dynamic than Anthony Saosin but I always loved both. I love that cove has been touring with scary kids scaring kids so his voice has been practicing very well!! I love this shit. I’ll always be die hard Anthony but I love cove tho too I’ve only seen Saosin live with cove never live with Anthony when I first got into saosin it was literally right when all the talking went down that Anthony was leaving and then he took off back to Philly.
I love that they released the Garden show (and on 4x vinyl no less 😍), Cove starting the set with "We're Saosin. Opening for Saosin." 😂 Anyone who gets the chance, the band is still playing Translating the Name EP in its entirety this year, and the shows are all fests.

@@warrenangub4806 What are you talking about? Anthony has a higher voice than Cove. AG is a high tenor and Cove is a mid-tenor. I dig both voices, but saying AG can’t hit high notes is untrue given the highest note he ever sang in Saosin is a D5 which isn’t high for a high tenor.

It was the same with the dvd, meaning the fan recorded a video during the making of the dvd. His voice was really clean, i swear. I couldn't find the video anymore now sadly
