If 10% of muslims will read Quran & Hadis with translation 9% will come out of Islam immediately only 1% will follow & those 1% will become Jihadist “terrorist”

Let's be honest, wearing the niqab for the sake of Allah(swt) is truly about taking. MODESTY to another level.
Even when the niqabi stands out, she is drawing attention involuntarily to herself for the right reasons, and the only people who take offence are those in whose heart there is a disease.
May Allah(swt) strengthen the faith of all niqabis and protect them from the shayatin from the Jinns and Mankind. Ameen.

I think that wearing niqab in 2024, especially in London and other large cities isn’t as strange to non Muslims. That said, it only takes one hostile comment from someone that can be very intimidating for us.
I hope you make a follow up video for us to let us know how you felt wearing niqab , your whole experience dear ukhti.
Surprisingly for me, the most negative experiences for me was when I lived in Izmir for almost 4 years. It shocked me and hurt me too because hurtful words and actions from ‘Muslims’ wasn’t what I expected.

Unfortunately in Turkiye people are ignorant they dont know about their deen well. They think like niqab is extreme. But its not. If you live in secular countries you need to be careful more. I mean only recently at 2007 we get rid of hijab ban in Turkiye. If you wanna live here you need to do jihad sabr you need to struggle my sister. You have a wonderful point, but unfortunately it's easier said than done. We point out that we are revert/converts because we have the shared experience of having a life as a non-believer and then changing everything for Allah. Every step takes courage like risking and sometimes losing relationships with parents, friends and family. Wearing hijab was scary at first and I sometimes still feel nervous about being perceived as different. Don't get me wrong - I love wearing hijab and wouldn't remove it, but it can be daunting at times. Also, I can only speak as someone from the West but as a revert, I always have to struggle with feeling like an outsider because the majority of Muslimahs I meet are from a different culture and can be judgmental and sometimes just unfriendly. When someone tells me they're a revert, I know that they've had to overcome some if not all of the above.

    Some advice ❤❤❤
For the horns😂, when you’re tying the strings of the jilbab / khimar, hold them flat in your hands on either side of your head, between your thumb and fingers (like a crab) with finger tips facing up, then, tilt your hands backwards at a kind of 45 degree angle with the ground (or more if you need it tighter, depends on the brand), this way, the top of the strap will sit tightly on your head, and the extra fabric will be pulled. Always make the top of the straps the tightest part of the strap (not uncomfortably tight, but tighter than the bottom, as the bottom of it sits over your ears slightly, and it may hurt over time)also, the fabric that frames the bottom of your face, beneath the straps, can be pulled to remove the horns hahah
For niqab: comfort is everything, theres nothing worse than having something uncomfortably sit on your eyes all day because it makes you strain and struggle to look up or down comfortably. I started off wearing the ‘soft niqab - 1 layer’ from sunnah style, where the top band is basically jersey material, so you can stretch it depending on how tight you need the bottom to sit over your nose and under eyes (this completely depends on your nose shape, eye shape etc, so its very flexible + comfortable)
BUT if you dont want to buy it, the niqab you had is completely fine, just position it so that the top band, where it sits above your eye, is above your eyelid, and when you blink/look up, it doesnt move + you dont feel it on your eyes. But dont pull it so far up that it shows your beautiful eyebrows, as then that will not be complete niqab (and it also looks much neater this way)
I hope that made sense, let me know if you need any clarification, would love to help!

    • @jojobaoil8736
      @jojobaoil8736 2 месяца назад +1

Ooohhh also, the niqab is nOt supposed to be hard to breathe in. I had the same issue when i first started and i was like… wow these girls must have really strong lungs. But no, there should be plenty of airflow in through the bottom. I found these things helped me to breathe as if im not wearing a niqab:
      1) i would avoid jilbabs + certain khimars - because of the shape, it blocks air from both the sides and the bottom and makes the niqab sit flat against it, when really, the curving of your face should make a hole all the way down to the bottom of the niqab, allowing plenty of airflow
      2) avoid tucking in the bottom of the niqab into e.g. coats, cardigans, getting it stuck under a cross body bag - again, no airflow through the bottom, and you notice it
      3) avoid wearing the khimars that have niqab strings as niqabs (obviously fine to wear the khimar without tying the strings) - but this absolutely, completely restricts air flow, and youll probably be panting for breath and will need to pull it down - these are so difficult to breathe in. But they are absolutely fine for e.g. when at home or in someones house and you want to pull up a niqab easily, or when youre doing something that doesnt require much walking or physical activity, because the air will get literally so so hot
      4) if you feel. Its getting stuffy and no airflow, just use your hand to cup over your nose and sort of pull the niqab away from your face, or even just pulling it slightly from the bottom away from you - you instantly get air flow in and you realise… damn i couldve just done that instead of breathing this recycled air lol

Assalaamu alaikum sister Aisha! As a fellow revert, I admire your courage to wear niqab. May Allah make it easy for you. I live in the USA, specifically the Southern "bible belt" so there are hostile Christians who do not see anything wrong with being antagonistic towards anyone not a WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant). I used to live nervous to be discovered to be a Catholic and now I live nervous because it's clear that I am a Muslim because of my hijab. I would really like to wear niqab but fear the repercussions. May Allah make it easy for us both, amin!

Alhamdulillah I'm a recent Niqabi sister as well, I absolutely love it and i thank Allah for this great blessing. I was also scared at the beginning and was too much in my head but I realised it was shaitan trying to stop me, alhamdulillah Allah protected me from that.
I noticed many benefits of wearing the Niqab, I feel like I'm recognised and respected by my muslim sisters, I noticed that I don't get unnecessary attention from men, on the contrary they respect me more and assume that I'm older or that I'm a married woman even though I'm not. Sometimes I see a few non Muslim women staring but i really consider it as a form of dawah and hope that Allah shows them the dignity and pride that we muslims get from wearing the hijab or niqab.
May Allah accept from us and make us sincere.
May Allah make it easy for you and guide you to everything that he loves and that pleases him, ameen.

With niqab and small kids I definitely can not wear Jilbabs anymore. I wear a comfortable abayah, and a normal hijab, and niqab. As for eating when I’m out, I don’t make it weird. I sit somewhere a bit more discreet, flip it up, eat comfortably and back down when I’m done. So because of things like that, knowing that, I don’t wear makeup … having said that, it took me a while to figure out how to go about it. But I don’t wanna wear it and make people uncomfortable - which i feel like is what makes it harder than it needs to be. At the same time, I know why I wear it - which is more to keep myself accountable about how I dress (ie. When something is a bit tight, it just looks wrong to me now and I’m less likely to let it slide once I see myself with the niqab), the way I act/behave, not unnecessarily interacting with men etc. and knowing my reasons and the way I want to be has made it a lot easier in terms of what my relationship with niqab is like. But I won’t say navigating the beginning was easy … it wasn’t. It feels a bit isolating when people don’t smile or talk to you the way they used to.

I like to tie the 'French' jilbāb (tbh, we should find another name for this type of jilbāb) underneath it, so there will be no 'horns' on the head. I also wear the niqāb underneath it. This way, there are no knots visible outside.

this was unintentionally hilarious. Niqabis are really brave to wear it in the west. I remember at a doctors appointment a woman with a niqab came in and an ol man turned around looked at her and said ugh and shook his head. I couldn't deal with that.

It makes me nervous when a covered up woman approaches me especially when they are dressed in black. Since a little girl I found this dress code extremely scary. Imagine, everyone is nervous around that outfit. The person who’s wearing it, the child and members of the public. If it feels wrong it probably is wrong.

There is nothing wrong with covering the face out of worship and choice. If people do not have problem with people walking around half dressed then they should not have a problem with others choosing to be fully dressed. If someone has a problem with modesty and decency then that Is a personal problem projecting unto to others and this is unfair. Women have the intellect to choose for themselves and that is all that matters, choices.

You're adorable, MashaAllah 😄 you came out of your comfort zone. Thank you for challenging yourself; it might hint at what it's like for sisters considering a niqab in the UK. I don't think I could do that daily, even though I love it. I wear a khimar sometimes, but it can feel awkward in smaller Scottish towns like mine. Not bothered at all when visiting Edinburgh, for instance.

Spreading stuff NOT found in the Quran?
Just to get more blind believers to follow you?
Yes, there will be so many looking for confirmation of their beliefs and clap for each other. - Without verifying in the Quran - which they claim they follow but what’s in it they know very little.
      In the Quran there is:
      No niqab
      No burka
      No ladies’HIJAB
(the word Hijab is used in the Quran but NOT for ladies)
Spreading the clothing of the desert required in sand storms and calling it religious.
All other religious groups in the desert were wearing such clothes for a long long time.

As for how you can wear the one you have on (jilbab/khimar), it looks like it's a convertible niqab. For jilbabs like that, they usually have 4 strings, 2 bigger ones to secure the headpiece in place and 2 smaller ones to securely tie the niqab (which is under your chin).
Also if you want to get rid of the cloth sticking out on your head, tie it directly on your head from under the Khimar.
    Hope this was helpful 😊❤
