Couldn't agree more. I think that's what makes Hera the best content creator (Tatoh as well but in spanish), the really know how to explain why they are doing what they're doing ❤
Love the thought process, saga of the two games/storyline, and the fact that you post raw games like this! Even though it was an L, it was a ton of fun to watch a pro approach a unique situation and then allow us to observe the saga of you trying to overcome the challenge. Can’t get enough! Well done
Like this one! Hopefully you upload more of these 2+ games. It is a bonus not seeing the games being 20min or less, as it usually means you are loosing. It keeps the excitement cause we wont easily predict who will win!
I really appreciate you explaining your thought process in these . It helps me understand what the decision making process should look like rather than if x then y .
Great gameplay. Liked that because the game was so short you gave them value for their money with a second game. Finally, Very educational commentary, that was probably the best part of the video. Great job Hera!
Hey man, great games. 👍 In the second game, you didn't get your blacksmith upgrades until you were on the way to imp. Was it because of the low army count or because you were prioritizing your eco? Is there a rule of thumb or so on when upgrades for cav are worthwhile?
Love your content also i got a suggestion for you, I'd love to see a 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 game with 75 pop max, on extra large map, game mode can be adjusted to Regicide or something else, possibly make the final age castle age. The point is to make it seem more like an adventure rather than a rush fast paced game.
For me personally, against lower elo, mongols is the pick to win. Because in this 1v multiple games, you often need a composition with 2-3 different units and it's really not easy to have. But with mongol it's really mangudai + ram can do the job for you. Both cost only wood and gold which is another advantage.
Describing sheep as inferior food might be overstating it. In fact, with the right preparation, sheep can surprise you with its flavor and tenderness. The key to cooking sheep lies in a few crucial steps. Firstly, selecting high-quality cuts of meat is essential. Opt for cuts like the leg or shoulder, which tend to be more flavorful and tender when cooked properly. Secondly, marinating the meat can enhance its taste and texture. A marinade consisting of herbs, spices, and a bit of acidity, such as lemon juice or vinegar, can help tenderize the meat and infuse it with delicious flavors. Thirdly, slow cooking methods like roasting or braising are ideal for sheep meat. This allows the meat to become tender while allowing the flavors to develop fully. Cooking at a low temperature for an extended period of time ensures that the meat remains juicy and succulent. Additionally, seasoning the meat generously with salt and pepper before cooking can elevate its taste even further. Don't forget to baste the meat occasionally during cooking to keep it moist and flavorful. Lastly, allowing the meat to rest for a few minutes after cooking is crucial. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful final dish. By following these steps, you can transform sheep meat into a delectable culinary delight that will surprise even the most skeptical of palates.
man what an amazing game! ...cannot believe they didn't go for trade tho - makes me really wonder why ....savar wasn't really useless in my view...it's just that they couldn't take on those halbs alone - I think, would you have gone for HC sooner would have been better
Do you think the Persian UT Citadels would have won you the game? Your castles could do extra damage to rams and infantry and take less bonus damage from rams and trebs...
Me and my mate designed a strat months ago and we apply it on 2v2 ranked or the typical 4v4 arena unrankeds. It always works. We are sure our plan can crush you in a 2v1. But we are 1k elo so can't wait for you to destroy us whenever we decide to pay to play against the top one player🤣👌🏻
David, absolutely. Trashbows are trash against woad raiders or champions with gambesons, but against halbs they have their +3 bonus. HC kills halberdier with 3 hits, taking 10.35 sec. Trashbow kills halberdier with +4 armor in 9 hits, taking 15.25 sec with Thumb Ring. Nearly as good, more accurate at range and with ballistics, only costs 60 wood instead of 45 food and 50 gold and wood is easiest resource to get, and faster rate of fire means less overkill. In "HALBERDIER | Best COMMON Counters | Tierlist | Age of Empires 2", Persian crossbows score 81, compared to 82 for standard arbalests, while HCs with equal resources score only 73.
@@Lokalo1 Units that are good against every other type of unit (with equal resources) break the game. Savar are already good against paladin (winning 1v1 due to faster attack), though adding in some non-elite war elephants would probably have been better. Even pro players struggle to combine forces effectively: the push against the castle on the left had 0 paladins from orange to support it. (Note that Hera was wrong: lower HP doesn't hurt Savar against pure halbs, since both generic Paladin and and Savar die in five hits.)
I think if you played these guys first and recorded your commentary video later, focusing on winning, I think you would be like 2 times more dangerous opponent and possibly wouldn't lose a single game.
Hey Hera can you not spoil the results with the video title just go like crazy 1v2 or something so we enjoy the games more rather than just know u will lose from the start
1v1 + 1v1 is not the same as 1v2. 20 years ago there are a plenty of players as skillful as you playing in the microsoft gaming platform, even the best could not afford a 1v2 when the opponent got teamwork. even 1v7 is simple if they don't work together
You were always an awesome player but your commentary while playing has gotten really great as well. It's both entertaining and educational as well!

Low army count smith wasnt needed
Me encanta que te tomes con tanta seriedad este tipo de desafíos. De verdad sos el mejor de todos.
These challenges are so hard, you played amazing in the 2nd one and still lost.

Very well played first game! Grats!
Awesome vid will never know how you play so quick 😄
Double or supported or slinged smush has always been a great strategy in this kind of matchup :D Great to see a legend play against it
They followed Hera advise exactly, so they deserve the victory
I was yelling "LOOOOM" for a solid 10 minutes
Hera at 0:26 😎 Hera at 52:00 😓. UR awesome man, did what u thought right. Everybody has bas days.
I personally love the longer videos.
I would LOVE to see how many Extreme AI's you could beat on Regicide Fortress (or even just normal Fortress).
Would that be an option?
second game was fire
so good! Mistakes were made and you can win 1v2 with some luck also
Really awesome stuff here!

Nah, he was running out of gold anyways. He couldn't push with gold units, no way he wins the trash war 2v1.
MFW the video is 1 hour long but there's a gg 15 minutes in
That was a fun one

Trashbows too weak when compared to HC though, and there was no shortage of gold on the map

first game i think u were little too greedy with 3 tc so fast, also they were little too close for you. second game why no halb + savar?
