Ahoj! You should use github.com/rospogrigio/localtuya, I talked about this integration in my previous video, but in Polish. :) i've never had to renew my account and probably it's expired long time ago.
@Joseph-mu1zb i did a automation that if doors open the light Goes on and then disconnected the device in the router settings from the Internet and when the doors had opened the light turned on. So I think it works on LAN.
@@SmartTubeOfficial Really appreciate your humble testing for me but weirdly enough I bought a tuya wifi door sensor with a smiley face type status indicator and it does not work on LAN so was thinking of should I be getting another newer variant or not. Thanks again!
@@Joseph_kamura I would recommend you to buy a zigbee gateway and buy zigbee devices... they work like a charm without any issues and the Internet is not needed
I mean can we set a certain amount of time, like it should not go off immediately, like are we able to set that it should go after like 10-15 seconds so that it doesn't disturb at night.
@@SimranjeetSinghYT i dont see any point in turning off the alarm sound until the alarm is diaarmed.... so what i would do is add another scene that if alarm is disarmed, then the scene is triggered that turns of the alarm noise.
@@SmartTubeOfficial My flatmate comes at home from work around 3 AM, if alarm will go off instantly it will disturb me and same when I go to work it will disturb others.
@@SimranjeetSinghYT aha, now I get what you want to achieve, but seems like you just need to remember to disarm the alarm before opening the doors. if someone will break into your house and close the door you don't want to hear it? a bit not safe decision. What i'm doing at my house is i have a light bulb near doors and if the alarm is armed the light turn on to red color on some low power... so I always know that my alarm is armed, try this! will be safer. 😁

Tuya WiFi Door Window Sensor the response time is not fast enough for my project I used Tuya zigbee version instead.
Indeed, 4s is a bit long... zigbee as in my other video of door sensor is much faster, I would say instant reaction.
