RC Glider Aerotowing 2023

We are finally putting our fleet of Multiplex foamies out to pasture. After a hard life and many fun flights our Multiplex Heron, Solius and FunCub XL are getting a bit tired, and so will make room for their replacements in our fleet including; Condor Evo from Fly-Fly models, 4.5m Discus CS from Graupner, E-Flite Drac0, Tony Ray Minimoa, 4.5m Duo-Discus from Fly-Fly models, and a 5m Slingsby Petrel from the Old Gliders company - oh and maybe another Tony Ray build !

Never aerotowed before but I have put a lot of hours on my Solius and Heron. I do love Multiplex gliders. Looking forward to more glider content.

Glad you enjoyed the video. We love the aerotowing as it adds a team/community aspect to the hobby as many of our club members are comfortable flying the tug and quite a few of us have gliders to tow.
We have a glider tug conversion coming soon, a 5m span vintage glider on the bench, and the possibility of another Tony Ray build. Stay tuned.

Would like to see your friend's Lentus in action more too. At home we are largely shutdown the past couple of years due to very restrictive "Drone" laws.
