It’s almost commonplace now for Sparty to commit some type of violence when the game is over. Unhinged violence is a big part of that MSU program and it’s a major problem in this rivalry. Eventually there will be violence in the streets in EL after the game. Which is alarming and sad.
I'm not concerned about it. These guys are battering each other every play of the game so I don't think we should be scandalized by some pushing and shoving 🤷 We were SO close to not having any drama this time but we couldn't get there 😂
Proud of this Michigan team fir not rolling over and letting the floor bottom out for the season by scrapping through this one. I don't see us winning games much more after this so it'll be nice to cherish til next year. Hopefully Portnoy can sway Mr. Underwood.
And why should Colston back down? Loveland will be playing on Sundays and that Sparty dude will be at home picking his butt after he graduates MSU. Go Blue!
It’s about carrying yourself respectfully and not stooping to a bush league level! What happens if Loveland and Mullings are found at fault at some level, and are subsequently suspended for a game or two? That seriously harms the team. I am not suggesting our guys should not defend themselves and each other, but retaliating to some bush league crap when you are not at risk should be beneath anyone who wears the winged helmet.
not sure that I agree with Balas regarding the difficulty to reach the CFP now with an expanded 12 team playoff. IU now poised in THE FIRST YEAR of the CFP by a first year coach, to do just that 😮
Newsome is not an OLine coach. Moore has some difficult decisions to make but needs to make it his priority to get the best staff in college football. Don't see one position coach who is earning his pay check. Many of the coaches were born on 3B....they just had to maintain with quality talent.
Agree with you Chris about improving. Seems like a waste that he didn't have the opportunity to improve all these games. Now we are in the hardest part of schedule and they are throwing him back in there. Don't understand if the process is to aware positions on merit, Warren earned the job with his performance in offseason and Preseason practices based on Merit. It would be different if he was an experience QB. He was the best choice based on merit and all he needed was experience.
I’ve witnessed many games that Michigan won statistically, but lost on the scoreboard. Happened a number of times against the bucks. The ‘73 game comes to mind, we played better,it was a tie but we lost cause of a vote!
I agree with Balas on not playing Sparty for awhile then having them put on schedule like we do with other conference members. They live for this game and always find a way to add violence off the field. As a Michigan fan I would not go to a Michigan game at night in East lansing! I would fear for my safety because it's a violent program and fan base. I was there 30 years ago during cedar fest and our group was attacked by swarms of Spartan students that became a very dangerous situation. It's their identity to be violent against Michigan and we don't need this!
I went last year, and it was fine simply because the game was a beatdown. But, I was a little hesitant after Valenti opened his mouth and warned Michigan fans to not show up. Lowlifes.
The hate and thuggish MSU mantra is never going to change I was hoping for a clean game and we almost got there until the end proud of our tight end who didn't back down but I'm sick of the hate and wish both teams can move past the hate
Proud of the team’s response and resilience! However, the drop in quality at the line of scrimmage is truly disturbing. This OL needs to do some soul searching and find that tenacity that their predecessors had because not being able to run the football, and control the game clock is not going to bode well for them moving forward in the schedule. Very proud of Davis Warren! I think the benching did him justice. Of course, I still feel the QB situation this season has been badly mismanaged!
Its good to get both perspectives and that you two can disagree. So many people dont get that. I remember a few years ago Howard Griffith disagreed with Nicole Auerbach and she was visibly offended. So ridiculous.
Yards don't matter! Points do. Stop talking about yards. MSU's playmakers are there WRs and TE. Their RBs are mediocre. Michigan took away the big passing plays on defense, and forced MSU to run the clock out on the ground. Chiles never got going! Offensively, while Michigan couldn't run the ball effectively, Warren was able to complete some passes and the OLine gave their offense time to run some trick plays to move the ball down the field. And finally, KC finally figured out how to use Orji. He provided a spark in the running game, and helped UM seal the game. Yes, MSU is not very good. But rivalry games are very competitive 90% of the time. Last year's game was an outlier. Now...we've got Oregon this week. We're gonna have to play our best game to win, and hope that the trip east will have a negative impact on the Ducks.
Yep. And he had a wry smirk when he said it. Glad Skene pointed out that when he left msu that he essentially screwed them. Very poor character that Mark Dantonio.
Non stop tight-end screens to Loveland all over the field. Run it so much the next three weeks that bucknutville start thinking that's all we have. Scheme the half brains off of that.

Rich coming from a program that allows players with gun charges to play.

Really love the feedback from you two. Skene is always excellent. Keep it coming.
Little Brother back in his place. 😂 Go Blue!

6 - 6 is possibly the best
Skene is spot-on. Dantonio opened his yap on 9/1/2007.
Dantonio also kicked scums ass

Stop it. This rivalry is no longer about class. This is what they wanted. The idea of a cooling of period is straight cowerdace
“Lil bro doing lil bro things”. LOL

Big Blue has to roll from the first snap, period.
Sad state of affairs is exactly right. MSU may not be able to keep the QB in this day and age of college football.

Went to AA 2 years ago and Michigan fans were attacking my group. Its your wolverine dna to be violent
I've tailgated in a mixed crowd of both sets of fans in AA and EL and always had a great time 🤷
The hate and thuggish MSU mantra is never going to change I was hoping for a clean game and we almost got there until the end proud of our tight end who didn't back down but I'm sick of the hate and wish both teams can move past the hate

Other guy sounds like he’s a Michigan state fan lol
Welcome back, gentleman; we won a game, especially against "Sparty." Always guys GOBLUE-NATTYUP🏆!
how many people think warren will be the guy after oregon msu has no pass rush and dude was 13 of 19 for like 120 yards
Did not remember that about Mark Dantonio having a moment of silence after UM lost to App State. Wow, not good.
Yep. And he had a wry smirk when he said it. Glad Skene pointed out that when he left msu that he essentially screwed them. Very poor character that Mark Dantonio.

Beat Sparty!
The fights are awesome! Intensity! They’re engaged!
Michigan’s 3rd Defense is Terrible! 🍊🗳️🇺🇸
Doug sounds so soft
The OL still stinks
Balas is ignorant to think UM is anything more than a 8-4/9-3 program without cheating. 1.5 National Championships in 75 years.😂😂😂
Awwwe. Typical jealous little relative. Say it again MICHIGAN. NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Glad to see you consider shared titles as not legit, OSU has only 4 in its entire history, and approaching 11 years since their last.
Meanwhile, ohio bucknuts haven't won "THE game" in more than ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED days!
Keep crying pal
Hit with ur shoulder pad..skene.. it's not hard
