Someone once said the end of the world will be televised. Turned out to be true...
This was an April Fool's Joke but still works as the final broadcast. Just imagine it to be the bad ending.
Okay, enough time has passed, this was an April Fool's Joke. Most of you handled it better than others.
When I saw the video, it was march 31, so I thought it was real for a second.

I see, you got me good mate. But in all seriousness I love these videos and when it comes to TNO, well it's insane how grim and dark that alternate history timeline is. At least there's a glimmer of hope but if the clock strikes midnight then it's all over. I also love the Fallout reference at the end, keep up the good work mate.

reminds me of the Protect & Survive shorts that the BBC was supposed to air if a war broke out, it would have been very easy to reuse 50's civil defense stuff but this feels authentically 70s/80s

From researching the ads, I believe this broadcasting is somewhere in between the late 70s and early 80s.
i estimated around 1983
Seems like we get closer to this every day. Except without the 1980's TV commercials.
Thats it? Some ads whith some nuclear drills and finally a random television in the rubble? This doesnt look as TNO for me, this could be cold war themed and you wouldnt even need to change anything in the video aside from the tno documentary starting, I hope this is just a trailer bc I love this TNO series on your channel, so far it has been magnificent, but dont leave us with this :(

I don’t mean to be that guy but in Canon World War III does happen, however, only military installations get nuked and only about three nuclear bombs are dropped on North American soil one in the countryside of Quebec one in Michigan and one in North Dakota. I don’t really remember but I might have to go read the report again.
