Maybe I'm reading too much into this but it feels like Brooke is judging Deacon to make herself feel better as a parent because she knows what she did to Bridget was bad. It's like putting someone else down to build yourself up kind of thing?

Once again, Amber is the only one making sense. She is absolutely right about Deacon - if they had only agreed to let him see the children every now and then, he would probably have been happy with that. It was only Brooke and Rick's refusal to let him see the children _at all_ that led to the situation escaIating.
I like Amber because she doesn't act entitled and she knows she can't. She is the one who is looking at the issue from Deacon's pov. Meanwhile the others, especially Rick and Brooke can't see their own faults and think they are completely right.

Well, it would have been if the aduIts had just behaved like aduIts, accepted Deacon's gift for Hope, let him stay for ten minutes, and then carried on with the party as planned.
Really, this is all so ridiculous. The writing and plots are so boring right now. This version of B&B is very hard to watch. Really not appreciating the addition of Mass, Nick or Jackie as central characters. 🥴 Deacon, trying to be the good guy now…the caring parent. Another kind of off the wall plot twist. Agree that Brooke should be nicer to Deacon and try to work with him. 😔 The pieces aren’t fitting together anymore on the soap. Continuity has gone by the wayside for crazy plot driven storylines. 🤷♀️
It occurs to me that with this forced assembling of the Marone family, Brooke now has *two* families of men vying for her favors 🙄. She is literally the first thing Nicky and Ridge talk about after acknowledging their familial relationship!
What I want to know is what is so special about Brooke that 2 men have to continue fighting over even after finding out they’re brothers? Ridge at least has history with Brooke but Nick just met her. Hearing about her affair and baby with her son in law should have been enough to turn him off from her and there are plenty of women, why fight your new brother over someone like Brooke as if she’s a prize?
Brooke admits that she has suffered all her life because of growing up without her dad - and then in the same breath tells Deacon that it is better for Hope to grow up without her dad. 🙄
I guess, the hypocritical Brooke is hiding her real child disappointment: not having a father of her dreams( from Beverly Hills). So she wants the men of her dreams to be the father of her "mistakes" with other men. I'm not saying that children are mistakes but they are the result of her dissolution. That's why Eric was not the father figure she dreamed for her children.
Brooker can kick rocks. She looks silly pointing fingers when her track record is the worst of them all. Hope became a nagging nuisance because of Brooker's influence. She would've been much better off with Deacon & Macy but the show couldn't have that.

I'm not watching every day because the show's gotten so bad but whenever I tune in, I'm always taken aback by how terrible the "star of the show" looks.
Brooke never turned Deacon away when he was married. She doesn't want Deacon around, because she wants Ridge or Nick to be Hope's daddy. Brooke let her own kids down, Hope and Bridget most of all.
Brooke was less rude with Eric because he was a Forrester, but Eric was only a revenge against Stephanie. She has never cared about him and she has always pretended to care about him because she didn't want to alienate all the Forrester family. But she succeded to alinate him from his own chidren pursuing the man of her dreams.
It sucks Amber is the only one who is reasonable, not to mention human, to not deny a father of his children for personal reasons, and yet, she’s the one who’s gonna get screwed up over all of this
I know! It's just another example of a character being destroyed in S16 in order to let Brooke win. First Taylor died so Ridge became available. Then Bridget and Stephanie were put in a position where Brooke could feel that they were no better than she was (Ridge's paternity, Bridget having feelings for Ridge). Then Amber, who is the reasonable one here, suddenly loses it and as a result loses Little Eric, while Deacon inexplicably gives up on getting visitation with Hope, and out of nowhere has soIe custody of Little Eric, just so that Brooke can keep Hope all to herself even though she is the one who actually wronged Deacon in this scenario.

This is to me a sensitve episode. My mom did not want my dad to see mee as a baby. They where not married , ..so she had to power My dad wsd forbidden to come over or contact me. I never got to know my dad. And she is to blame. I can not forgive her for this Thanks butt no thanks mommy "dearest" It was extreemly cruel, besides the sexual abuse, the fysical abuse and verbal, spiritual abuse. Thats why i probebly hate Brooke, she looks a lot like my "mom"

My parents were also not married and my mother wanted soIe custody. I remember being a little kid and being afraid of my own dad because my mom would tell me that he'd try to take me away. Then, mid-custody battIe, my father died unexpectedly. I was 5 and barely remember him. I only got to "know" him after his death, at which point my mother no longer had a problem with him and wanted me to know everything about him and to be a part of his family. My mother has done a lot of good things as well and I grew up in a safe and happy home, but she was wrong in discouraging me from having a relationship with my father. Which is why I know with certainty that Brooke is in the wrong here as well.

There are many actress on screen who are terrible looking. Maybe you hate kkl so much that you are unfair about her looks. You know some people age quicker than others so what. KKL does not wear much makeup even in her real life. She looks more natural.
