I would also maybe suggest using the Option button on Mac (hold it down/toggle it) while using the sliders it shows grey scale (not sure if that's the technical term) which could help you see where the adjustments are made. *Option button can also work with other adjustment settings Thanks for the tips.

I personally think the colour noise reduction is the least destructive tool but I have noticed that it works well around 20-40. Any more that and it starts to affect the image quality.

Are you sure colour noise reduction can have an adverse effect on image details?
if u use too much of it it will remove some color of the image
