Nowadays "Farming" is not that common anymore, as most new games lean more towards being easy so anyone can complete them. But if you have played some more classic RPGs and you come in to this with that mentality...its super natural to farm.
I’m glad Undertale is getting old enough that we can see blind play throughs again. It’s really fun to see people experience this gem and all it’s little secrets.
If you feel like playing it again, I’d definitely tune in! If you’d rather do it off-camera, or just end up watching the other endings on RUclips, that’s fine too. It was a very good play through, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else play the game quite like this.

Your blind playthru was hilarious, I have never seen someone fall so heavily into genocide by accident and then pull it back! Would love to see you do a full Pacifist route, wouldn't suggest genocide, it's awful and extremely difficult, but hey, I wouldn't stop you either.

@@ten5h1 you could if you gave up before you entered asgore's room. That's not a full geno run but you saw most of what it had to offer. You can also just delete your save file which removes the souless ending from being possible.
If you do play it again, I'd recommend not killing anybody. You also could have been better friends with Undyne and Alphys. Or kill them all - I'm not your boss. This is probably the first totally blind playthrough I've seen somebody do, and it was really fun to watch because of it. Loved watching you make all those "mistakes" and realize it as you went lol. Definitely my favorite game; hope to see you do another run.
I still very strongly remember in my first playthrough, I didn't realize I could spare Toriel and I thought if I got her health low enough she would just say I passed the test or something (the insta-kill only happens in genocide route). Instead she warned me about Asgore and said to "be good my child" before dying. I was so distraught I reset the game and looked up how to spare her. Then I went into the next room... and Flowey said... I know what you did. You murdered her. And then you went back, because you regretted it. Ha ha ha ha... You naive idiot. Ah -- sparing Doggo is what redeemed you from "the genocide route". Otherwise your character would not have listened to any of the puzzles in Snowdin forest. Some of the secrets you found or identified: - Dodging Flowey's "friendliness pellets" - The "genocide route" - Eating a spider item wins the Muffet battle - Eating the Pie during the Asgore battle - Each of Photoshop Flowey's "soul" attacks (knife, frying pan, etc.) ARE symbolic of the previous six humans, and DO correlate with each weapon you can acquire during the game

Honestly I love that this game has fallen out of the public eye because it let's playthroughs like this happen. I love that it got the recognition it deserved but it is also just the kind of game that is greatly improved by you going in completely blind and coming out shocked but all that you saw.... or did in some cases. It's just cool to see someone experience the same lesson about empathy and subverting expectations that so many others missed because they played after they had already watched the two different routes.

I say you should definitely give it a try again soon! and after your 2nd attempt you should play again with genocide as that will basically complete the puzzle of undertale.

I wish you will play other endings too, it was fun to see you accidentaly entering genocide run, but you'd probably not have a good time fighting genocide bosses in your first playthrough, so it's probably better that you left that path early

I was immensely involved in the fandom when the game first came out, and dropped out of it after a few years. it's been nice getting back into it and seeing new people enjoy it - the blind playthroughs nowadays are my favorite thing ever! @@dawndoe11 I was 6 when Undertale came out. So I wasn’t really a gamer yet. But now that I am and found Undertale, I get to enjoy the fandom. I play violin so I’m able to play almost all the songs(which is amazing!) I have a best friend that also just got into Undertale and Deltarune so we are able to have fun discussing it together. I found things Undertale related (for example, Undertale the Musical and the 5th anniversary concert) that I enjoyed a lot. It’s really nice to see that the fandom is still alive.

It's SO funny seeing how you somehow managed to start the genocide run going in completely blind, generally most people don't have the patience to grind that much on their first run. It was really fun to watch :) you probably noticed, but once you spared someone the game kinda settled back into normalcy and didn't scream "but nobody came" and "16 left" at you anymore, so you one of many neutral endings. If you kept grinding, the game would've gone a very, very different route. Lmao If you want to do this again and play a pacifist run, you'll have to delete your save in your files, one of the characters will remember if you try to play again and I think won't let you get the pacifist ending even if you play the route correctly. All you have to do after deleting that save file is play and spare EVERYONE, and never hurt anyone, and also go on all the "dates". You can play the entire game without fighting, until reaching Asgore. Hope that helps! I think you'd have a lot of fun
She only needs to reset and she'll be able to get the pacifist run. And you can totally hurt many monsters into submission and get the pacifist ending, as long as you don't kill anything. The game isn't meant to be tedious. (I used to be obsessed with that game)

aaa I love this playthrough. Probably a hot take but I think this kind of runs are a lot better than the ones where people spare everyone, it's varied and more entertaining

great job on the editing, the way you overlayed the soundtrack so the songs kept playing through your edits and didn't keep cutting out was really good, how did you even get rid of the actual music playing without getting rid of the ingame sounds also?

There is no regular and true genocide, only genocide. What you mean is neutral seeing as how genocide means the complete extinction of a group of organisms and you can commit a half genocidr

I was immensely involved in the fandom when the game first came out, and dropped out of it after a few years. it's been nice getting back into it and seeing new people enjoy it - the blind playthroughs nowadays are my favorite thing ever! There are still some places where you can get involved with the fandom (or not, that's your preference) but I hope you get to talk about the game all you like! Explore, enjoy, find fun with it! :D
@@dawndoe11 I was 6 when Undertale came out. So I wasn’t really a gamer yet. But now that I am and found Undertale, I get to enjoy the fandom. I play violin so I’m able to play almost all the songs(which is amazing!) I have a best friend that also just got into Undertale and Deltarune so we are able to have fun discussing it together. I found things Undertale related (for example, Undertale the Musical and the 5th anniversary concert) that I enjoyed a lot. It’s really nice to see that the fandom is still alive.

It's SO funny seeing how you somehow managed to start the genocide run going in completely blind, generally most people don't have the patience to grind that much on their first run. It was really fun to watch :) you probably noticed, but once you spared someone the game kinda settled back into normalcy and didn't scream "but nobody came" and "16 left" at you anymore, so you one of many neutral endings. If you kept grinding, the game would've gone a very, very different route. Lmao
If you want to do this again and play a pacifist run, you'll have to delete your save in your files, one of the characters will remember if you try to play again and I think won't let you get the pacifist ending even if you play the route correctly.
All you have to do after deleting that save file is play and spare EVERYONE, and never hurt anyone, and also go on all the "dates". You can play the entire game without fighting, until reaching Asgore. Hope that helps! I think you'd have a lot of fun
She only needs to reset and she'll be able to get the pacifist run.
And you can totally hurt many monsters into submission and get the pacifist ending, as long as you don't kill anything.
The game isn't meant to be tedious.
