I just watched Jamey sing 21 Guns on the 35th National Memorial Day Concert on our PBS channel. I watch this concert faithfully every year. I cry through the whole thing each time. As I listened to Jamey sing 21 Guns, it made me think of my two cousins, who were brothers by the way, who were shot in Vietnam. One in the Army and the other in the Marines. God bless our troops. Thank you for your service. May we never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Rest in peace.
There were several former military personnel at the concert in Greensboro .a few Vietnam Era soldiers included. They all came to attention and held salute the entire duration of this tribute ...not too many dry eyes where I was sitting. Extraordinarily moving
